MY FAVOURITE LEAGUE IN FOOTBALL

Hello steemians, it's another wonderful contest of the world of football community by our admin @njaywan, which I am delighted to be part of. This week's contest is about your favourite league in football.

There are five major league in the world which are
1 UEFA Champions League & Europa League (Europe)
2 AFC Champions League (Asia)
3 CAF Champions League (Africa)
4 CONCACAF Champions League (North America)
5 Copa Libertadores (South America)
6 OFC Champions League (Oceania)

There are many countries in the world and each has it own domestic league. All can't be mentioned so I will only mention the top major Leagues in different countries.

I'm going to talk about my two favourite leagues and why I think they are the most toughest and competitive of all.

THE UEFA

The UEFA league is the biggest league in Europe. It is an yearly club football competition contested by top European clubs, deciding the competition winners through a group stage to qualify for a double-legged knockout format, and a single leg final. It is one of the most precious football tournaments in the world and the most prestigious club competition in European football, played by the country league champions (and, for some country, one or more runners-up) of their country associations.

This season final will be played on May 29, 2021 between Chelsea and Manchester City. No one believed Chelsea could make it to where they are. This is going to be thier second UEFA trophy if they can win the final. Manchester city on the other hand needs it more than any thing because they haven't won it before and Gurdiola hasn't won it since he left Barca and they also have the manpower and capable team to win it. So I believe they can win it.

THE EPL

The English Premier League (EPL) is one of the competitive league in Europe and the world. It is contested by 20 clubs which play 38 matches (playing all 19 other teams both home and away).

This season three English teams are in the UEFA and the UEL finals which are Man city, Chelsea and Man U. I think the premier League is the toughest league because it has most of the biggest clubs. Different clubs wins he league most times unlike other league where one or two club dominant the whole legaue i.e bundesliga, seria A etc.

Aside this, it also a league where you cannot under estimate the effort of any team. For instance this season was full of drama. The top 3, 4 and 5 was very competitive Chelsea and Liverpool were at a brink of of qualify for UEFA. West Ham qualified for UEL in a long time.
