The quality of young stars in the transfer market are terrible poor, talented but lack consistency. Consistency can only be derive from enormous hard work, which the young stars lack. True they work out to gain the spotlight, but immediately they got in they rely on their talents to deliver, thereby leading to inconsistencies in delivery. Because the goal was to become star and the media through cheap hype gave them that, and when they got in, they didn't know how to stay in the light.

Now if you carried out a survey of player that are still consistent in their game, you find out that majority of them are in their 30s, why? Because many of them experience and got experience from stars who knew how hard it it ease to become star, footballers who knows talent is not enough. That's why I have great respect for RONALDO and Lionel messi , interms of consistency. They were not hype. They are what they media say this guys are. Every penny they collect they deserve.

Hype like I said is good for players motivation, but it becoming a tool that stunt their growth. Many have been labelled the next messi and RONALDO but were are they now, this are hype. That youngstats feed on and they lose it. Because the hype comes with big expectations and they can't live up to it, and they quickly shown the door.let me show you are this work.

A young player does well like for a season boom! The media begin to sing praise of how good he his and that alert other club, which also alert his current club to give him a new contract so he won't leave easily, and that new contract expose this player to huge amount of dollar notes, firstly that can get into his head 1. and seeing the praise from the media other club find interest and sign the young player with a huge amount of money another problem 2. And with that huge transfer comes extraordinary weight of expectations, when the young player fails to meet up with the expectations, his tag a flop. His career barely peak after that season, due to the mental damage in the area of confidence. This as been the faith of many youngsters.

Am insisting the media should acknowledge young player brilliance on the pitch once in a while. Rather am suggesting the media house learn to draw the line between acknowledgement of brilliance and hyping practices. Heavy tag and huge expectations practices should be watch out for by the media, let this young stars mature and grow, just like RONALDO and Messi did, this young stars need time to grow. We love the game, we love our young stars for they are the future of the game, and they need to be protected. Big thank you to all media houses, who bring the game to our door step.

This is a good example about how the current media responds to the emergence of new talents in football. This particular applies to the big teams with a huge fanbase. I totally agree with you. They should let them grow other than pounce pressure in them.
