It is a great day although I have still not recovered from the loss of the UEFA Europa League Trophy to Villareal. Hopefully, I will recover when on Saturday Manchester City thrashes Chelsea FC in the final of the UEFA Champions League. Until then I am still in a very bad mood and I know the god of Manchester City will not shame us like the god of Leicester City.
I am highly pleased to contribute my quota to this beautiful contest organized by @njaywan in the @worldoffootball. Football is a beautiful game and the only source of entertainment to me except when The Red Devils lose.
Several Leagues are played around the globe in various countries and across continents. In Ghana, we have got the Ghana Premier League, English Premier League in England, La Liga Santander in Spain, French Ligue 1 in France, Ukrainian Premier League in Ukraine, Bundesliga in Germany amongst many others.
All these leagues play beautiful football with each having its own characteristics.
Of all the leagues around the globe, my favorite is the English Premier League. I believe the EPL is undoubtedly the best of all leagues. The league winner cannot be easily predicted at the beginning of the season as other leagues with two or three favorites.
Several reports confirm this fact. Unlike La Liga and other leagues with concentrations on only two teams, EPL is very dynamic with each team having a strong fanbase.
EPL teams for over three years now performed marvelously in the UEFA Champions League. Liverpool won in 2019 by playing against another English side, Tottenham and now Machester City will be playing against Chelsea, two English teams.
In the year Liverpool won the UCL, the UEFA Europa League was between two EPL clubs. This shows that the individual teams are fantastic.
Another reason for EPL being my favorite is, although the league has not the best players in the world in the names of Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, teamwork which is the ultimate aim for playing 11 players is very high in the EPL.
In the EPL, almost all the teams have got quality and standard stadia. Just take a critical look at the double function Tottenham stadium which serves as a football pitch and as a Rugby pitch.
The EPL to me is the most competitive. Of the top six teams in the league, none has got a greater chance to win, not even two or three of them can you predict to win the league. The variation in the teams which have won the league over the last 10 years is fascinating. The "lower" clubs all have got the chance to win the league as Leicester City did in 2013 but that cannot be said of most leagues particularly the La Liga.
In the EPL each team and manager has got different playing tactics, as Manchester City likes to play possessive and attacking football, Arsenal playing short passes, Chelsea to pressing game, Manchester United likes to play fast and attacking football.

Finally, the earnings associated with the EPL are very high as compared to any other league. Each playing team has also got some amount to earn at the end of the season. Comparatively, the EPL winner earns more than the winner of the UCL.
The EPL is not my favorite because I am a Manchester United fan but it has got all the qualities to make it the best.

I am always fascinated to see these teams go at it right from the start of the season where they would battle it out to see who is best.
It seems you never know who will win till the season is actually over. It is that competitive.

EPL is without a doubt the most competitive of all leagues. Full of unpredictability and uncertainty.
The English clubs have made their mark in European tournaments and have been found worthy of praise.
