Final review: The major leagues

Hello, hello, hello, it is a very beautiful day and another great day to discuss our favorite sports, football. Keep glued to your screens and let us get started.

Finally, the football seasons of the major leagues have come to end and as usual it was filled with disappointments, chills, happiness and fulfillments. It was another very competitive season which saw trophy-hungry teams battle it out to win trophies while some also battled to qualify for champions league, Europa league with others trying to escape relegation.

Some of us were disappointed with our teams because they could not achieve anything while others were happy because they saw victory upon victory. It was also a time where players got to battle it out to show who the best was. I mean anytime the football season comes to an end, life becomes boring for the football lovers. But the good news is the Euros will come off this year and it is something to smile about.

ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE

The English Premier league is one of the most competitive leagues in the world, no doubt about that. We saw 20 strong teams battle it out for the title.

And as usual, we always expect one of the big six teams(Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City) to lift the title since they have dominated the league for some time now. This expectation was met as Manchester City won the league for the fifth time in their history Under the management of Pep Guardiola.

Meanwhile, their city rival, Manchester United are still fantasizing about the day they will lift the title again after a title drought since 2013.

Most of the fans expected Juventus to lift the trophy because they are always the favorite. Also, the have the GOAT, Christiano Ronaldo(debatable). However, fans were disappointed as Inter Milan won the league for the nineteenth time in their history Under the management of Antonio Conte.
Juventus on the other hand nearly did nor qualify for champions league football next season. But thanks to Napoli playing a draw, they qualified on a thin thread.
