CHAMPION BESIKTAS! | Turkey Super League - Week 42

Today, the championship race has been concluded in the Turkish Super League. Beşiktaş won 2-1 against Göztepe on the road and reached the championship. With this championship, it became the 16 cup of Beşiktaş in the Turkish Super League. The last time they experienced the championship joy in 2017. For its fans, there is a festive atmosphere despite the curfew in the country.

As a Fenerbahçe fan, I congratulate Beşiktaş. They fully deserved this championship. Although they had a bad start at the beginning of the season, they recovered and played consistently well until the end of the season. If Fenerbahçe had not missed the opportunity last week and won the game, we would be the party celebrating the championship today. However, I am not very sorry. When we look at the season, we had a bad football. I hope we will fill our shortcomings by making the right transfers next season and we can reach the championship.

Beşiktaş and Galatasaray finished the league with the same point, but Beşiktaş became champion with goal average. If Galatasaray could score 2 more goals, they would be champions.

The teams of Erzurum BB, Ankaragücü, Gençlerbirliği and Denizlispor will compete in the lower league next season.

Adana Demirspor, which is the champion in the lower league, and Giresunspor, who finished in the second place, will compete in the Super League next season. The third team that will compete in the upper league will be determined by the playoffs.

Boupendza, the top scorer, is my favorite player this year. He did great work on his own and was the player who made the biggest contribution to Hatayspor's finishing the league so high. Next season, it is likely to be transferred to the big teams.
