Here Is The Liverpool You Should Dread

Hmm, seems The Reds are now fully awake, and getting them off that top spot is going to be a daunting task. Or should I say, other teams will now have to start paying for missing their chances of going ahead of Liverpool when they(Liverpool) had serious set backs and injury worries.

The Liverpool I witnessed yesterday were a replica of the "Phenomenal" Liverpool we are used to, a Liverpool side that chipping goals past their opponents is 2nd nature a Liverpool side whose defense, midfield, and attack are always attacking, and a Liverpool side that has running riot on teams in their blood. They showed us this when they got the better of Tottenham, but many of us didn't notice this due to Tottenham's resilient spirit, however, if we looked at the game between them(LivVsTot) closely we would see that they defeating an organized side as Tottenham isn't just a normal feat, and they just proved this against Palace right in their own backyard.

We once again witnessed how menacing Arnold, Robertson, Mane, and Firmino could be when they are in good shape, and even though Salah didn't get a start(Kloop was resting his players in order to keep with the hectic schedule), he still got a huge chunk of the meat(getting 2 goals and an assist). Not to forget, we also saw how clinical they could be converting all of their 7 "shots on target". This is the Liverpool I am scared of, and I won't be suprised if they end up winning the trophy this season with a huge gap difference between themselves and any team that occupies 2nd position.

The only downside to this game was Sadio Mane's disatisfactory display and look when he was substituted for Mohammed Salah. We however have seen this reaction before, and it doesn't have any effect on how menacing they could be. It only shows how much desire he(Mane) and the team have in scoring against opponents.

What a way to end a beautiful week, a week in which they claimed sole ownerahip of top spot in the EPL from Tottenham on Wednesday, and on Friday, saw Kloop win the FIFA Men's Coach Award with 4 other players(Trent, Van dijk, Thiago Alcantara, and Becker) named in the FIFA Pro XI.
