Am here to talk about the World Cup 2010 quarterfinals by Ghana vs Uruguay . The match Luis Suárez break Ghanaian hearts with his handball. This was the best cheating of self-sacrifice by Luis Suárez.

This March is the match Ghanaians will never forget about and the reason for this is because of the handball Luis Suárez caused with the penalty drama of Asamoah Gyan.

This match was a great I ever watch if I can quit remember Ghana scored the first goal which was just Immediately after the first half at that moment Ghanaians where very happy especially my community. Ghana’s first goal was by Sulley Muntari
Just in 1 minute of the beginning of the second half . Uruguay equalised the goal with a free kick just few meters outside the 18 yard box which was scored by Diego Forlán. This match got tough and very interesting . Both team couldn’t score in the 90th minutes so both team had to go for extra time . With the first half of the extra time the game was still draw

The saddest part of this March for The Ghanaian was the second half when Dominic Adiyiah’s head the ball to score and Luis Suárez deliberately use his hand to hit the ball out from scoring which they gave him a red card for that .

Penalty was awarded to Ghana which was played by Gyan. Not good on the part Gyan , he missed the penalty crashing the a ball across the bar after missing the penalty he started crying . This gave Luis Suárez double joy as he was on his way to dressing room .Gyan misses the penalty made both team to go for penalties. If he had scored the penalty we would have gone for the semifinal against Netherlands.

It was now time for the penalty shootout which Forlán become the first player for the Uruguay’s to stepped up first and hopefully placed away the outlet penalty. Gyan redeemed himself as he positioned away Ghana's first strive into the pinnacle-right corner. Mauricio Victorino then clinically scored the next penalty putting Uruguay in front 2-1. Appiah then scored makeing the rating line 2-2 then Andrés Scotti hit a low pressure down the middle to again provide Uruguay the threshold making it 3-2 and then John Mensah then took a completely poor terrible attempt that was effortlessly store by using the Uruguay’s goalkeeper Fernando Muslera. Maxi Pereira for Uruguay’s play shot and also missed penalty and the rating line turned into still 3-2 and then Dominic Adiyiah's attempt got saved as well, giving Uruguay the large chance to end the suit. Up stepped Sebastián Abreu, who coolly chipped the ball beyond Richard Kingson to position Uruguay via to the semifinals!

It became genuinely painful due to the fact Ghana was the only Africa country to reach the quarterfinals but due to the bad performance of some of the players of Ghana, they were beaten by way of the Uruguay’s. have a look at the squad that Ghana took to the Cup, that squad were having much opportunity to take the cup and that become what the players were dreaming and as all of us understand that ‘when God says No who are you to say yes’ i will say it wasn’t a destiny for Ghana to win the match

This match was a classic game and it will never be forgotten in the history of World Cup . I will say that day was the happiest day for Uruguay with the victory they have.

Also this is a match which can never be forgotten by all the Africa countries in other words Ghanaians , I’m saying this because, within all the African countries, it was only Ghana who happens to reach that stage. So Ghana got all the support from almost all the African countries but

I hope you enjoyed reading the review of the match between Ghana and Uruguay??

That was definitely one of the greatest world cup matches that had the entire world screaming.

Would have been good to see Ghana pull through.

Thank you for your participation.
