See reasons why Journalist are the cost of football backwardness in Africa

Hypocritic and paid Journalism in Nigeria in all sectors isn't doing the country any good especially in Sports.

After the Super Eagles scandalous lost in AFCON to Tunisia, a lot of journalists came out of their shell to criticize the team. The most annoying is non of them spotted the team weakness after the first, second and third game.

Non, spotted lack of leadership in the team. Non publicly criticize the preference of Maduka Okeye ahead of Francis Uzoho, Non.

Non spoke about the wrong timing of Genorth Rhor's sacking. Some felt we were ok with Eguaveon who we know his history.

After the game I read some disappointing stuffs on pages. Okocha as a pundit didn't complain about the team until they lost, he first pointed out lack of leadership in the team 😀.. like, wasn't it glaring?

Some complained about the selection, like you didn't know this before. Some journalists even defended the players they themselves know ain't there on merit 🤔..

When I hinted that most of the players ain't proud of what is going on in the country and the glass house, I wasn't blaffing. You yourself won't give your all with what is going in the country. Imagine how the Olympians were treated, you think the Super Eagles players who have had their fair share of Mal treatment did not know?.

Those players are good enough to go all the way but poor leadership is the real blip. Our journalists are aware, but since they work both side won't speak up.

I never had faith in Super Eagles, I knew they won't win. I spoke about some players inclusion and the wrong timing of Genorth Rhor's sacking. Most of you supported me while some hit back as usual. Same way I've always criticize Barcelona's signings even before things got worse for them. It's high time we learn to speak the truth as Sports enthusiasts professionally know as Journalists..
