Chelsea (Europa zone) and CONMEBOL representative Palmeiras managed to qualify for the 2021 Club World Cup final after beating their opponents in the semifinals. Chelsea defeated Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia) at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium, with a narrow 1-0 score through Romelu Lukaku's single goal. The game has only been running for eight minutes, Chelsea defender Thiago Silva made an experiment with a shot from outside the penalty area, but it was still wide on the right side of Abdullah Al Maiouf's goal. In the 11th minute Hakim Ziyech's kick from Cesar Azpilicueta's bait also did not produce results.
Al Hilal also created a chance in the 28th minute as a result of striker Moussa Marega's experiment but it was still wide on the left side of Kepa Arrizabalaga's goal. The goal Chelsea had been waiting for was finally created in the 32nd minute through Romelu Lukaku after Al Hilal left-back Yasir Al Shahrani made a blunder and Lukaku took full advantage of it by beating goalkeeper Abdullah Al Mualouf. In another semifinal match, representatives of CONMEBOL Brazilian club Palmeiras also stepped into the final after eliminating Egyptian club Al Ahly. Playing at Abu Dhabi's Al Nahyan Stadium, Palmeiras won 2-0 with goals scored by Raphael Veiga in the 39th minute and Eduardo Pereira's goals in the 49th minute. The Club World Cup final will be held at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates on Saturday (12/2/2022).

Nice report, I saw the match also and it was do dull until that lone goal was scored by Lukaku. The only thing that was important to Chelsea was to get the win and they held on to the one goal advantage since first half to the 90 minute. The blues will win the finals today and I hope to see a better performance from my boys.

Finally, the club world cup finals have been played and Chelsea lifted the Cup. They well deserved it because they're really been playing excellently recently. They needed the it too because they haven't lifted that trophy since the history of Chelsea.
