UNITED HAVE FINALIZED THEIR JADON SANCHO MOVE . DONE DEAL !!!!
The long awaited news of United's star signing is finally here after he managed to successfully complete his medicals at Old Trafford. He is going to be in the Number 25 jersey with the Reds while Edinson Cavani maintains the Number 7 jersey after his contract was extended by another year. I heard a lot of people talking about the jersey Sancho was gonna take. And most of the time, they said he will take the no.7 but I never agreed to that. Cavani deserves the jersey and has proved himself to be worth it.
It was a truly warm welcome he has received both from the Fans of Old Trafford and other notable individuals in the premier league. I mean, who doesn't enjoy seeing him play. For a fee of £72 m, I personally believe Man United struck gold as opposed to the previous offer of well over £100 m last year.
He is undoubtedly one of the world's best wingers out there who is very creative in finding spaces in the opposition's end. It would be quite interesting to see the linkup between him, Marcus Rashford, Edinson Cavani and at times Mason Greenwood. I get tired of seeing some of the United full backs trying to play the roles of wingers too. It is disheartening to see this as a United fan. Especially seeing Wan Bissaka trying to go forward everytime and coming back again to retrieve balls. It is exhausting. I'm more than glad to see Sancho join the team. Bissaka can now stay back and defend better in all games.
In Sancho's welcome interview, he seems very enthusiastic to be a player on the team he grew up watching in his home country. He is already focused on getting many goals and assists like we've seen him done with his former club, Borussia Dortmund, even made a joke about his skillful ability.
I can't say for certain that he will hit the ground running with his new club as seen with Bruno Fernandez after his move from Sporting. But I know for certain he will give his best since he is one of the most determined wingers out there with the ability to evade tough defenses.
A skillful winger was all United fans were asking for. Someone who can slide through defences of opponent teams without hesitation and difficulty.
I just hope he shines just like how Bruno did in his first season. Though the pressure on him will be great, I know he's gonna keep a cool head and do what he does best. And with the help of Bruno and other promising and great players in the team, I feel Sancho's debut season will be a memorable one.
