MY UNFORGETTABLE WORLD CUP MATCH: FRANCE VS ARGENTINA

hello steemians. trust you guys are doing perfectly well. actually I never had the intension of sharing my unforgettable world cup match but I saw the entries being made here motivated me to be among those that will share their story.
My own unforgettable world cup match is not that long it happened three years ago in Russia.
The last world was hosted by Russia in 2018.
The match I will not forget is Argentina vs France in the last of 16 tie which was played on 30 June 2018.
Argentina did extra works before qualifying to the round of 16.
When France and Argentina were playing the round of 16 tie, all expectations was that Argentina will proceed to the quarter final with Messi performance in their previous match.
But the expectations goes the other way round as they were eliminated by focus and determined France side.
France opened the scoring in the 13th minutes through Antonio Griezman penalty. there after, Argentina equalized before the interval through Di Maria goal. In 48th minutes, Argentina took the lead with a G. mercado goal. the goal happens to be Argentina winning goal but due to their lack of focus they gave as way the lead.
And that's where my unforgettable moment came from. the moment I will not forget was a long range goal from outside the box by B. pavard in 57 minute which made the scoreline to 2-2.

Pavard goal was the only motivation France had as they knocked Argentina out of last world cup.

young Mbape stole the show as he scored two brilliant goal in the 64th and 68th minutes to put France at a comfortable 4-2 lead.

Lionel Messi and co. did all the possible best they could only to grab a consolation goal in the 90+3 minutes through from Sergio Aguero.
the match ended with a 4-3 score line in favour of France.

In Conclusion
Argentina should have won but speed in attacking line of France outshine Messi and co.
And uptill now if I see pavard playing I feel sad because of the goal he scored Argentina.
