Lionel Andres Messi is an Argentina soccer player who is currently playing for French side Paris Saint German.
He was on born on 24 June 1987, at Rosario Argentina.
At the age of 13, Messi moved from Argentina to Spain to join FC Barcelona after the club agreed to pay for his medical treatment.source

Messi was diagnosed by doctors as suffering from a hormone deficiency that restricted his growth. Messi's parents, Jorge and Ceclia, decided on a regimen of nightly growth-hormone injections for their son, though it soon proved impossible to pay several hundred dollars per month for the medication. He was offered the chance to train with the Barcelona youth team La Masia and have all his medical bills covered by the club.

By the age of 16, Messi made his first appearance for the FC Barcelona, putting himself in the record books on May 1, 2005, as the youngest player to ever score a goal for the franchise. That same year, he led Argentina to the title in the under-20 World Cup, scoring on a pair of penalty kicks to propel the team over Nigeria.

Messi’s carrier as a professional football player accelerated in the year 2000.
He made his league debut on October 16, 2004, against the RCD Espanyol, at such a young age.
He created history through netting a goal on 1st May, 2005 against Albacete to became the youngest player ever to score in a La Liga game for Barcelona.

In 2007 Messi netted his 100th goal while playing for Barcelona. In the year 2009, he not only won his first Copa del Rey but, also helped his team win the La Liga and Champions League.
2010-11 season, Barcelona was seen to win the Champions League by defeating Real Madrid by 2-0 in the Semi-final with Messi netting both the goals. In the final Messi again netted the winning goal against Manchester United, making Barcelona win their third title in six years.
In the 2011-12 season,he surpassed Laszlo Kubala’s 194 goals in all official competitions. He became the leading goal scorer for Barcelona in all official competitions by surpassing Cesar Rodriguez.
Things went the same way in the coming years for Messi until he met with an injury- a career-threatening one but he bounced back and broke all the records for Barcelona.source

After spending all his entire career as Barcelona player,due to financial issues affecting Barcelona,he decided to quit the club and joined Paris Saint German (PSG) in 2021 to continue his career.
