Chelsea has produced one of their best performance yet today after their fallout against Tottenham with the score at 2:0 at full time. Tonight's game was all about dominance and control and yet, not much can be said about their attacking prowess. Though that hasn't been a hindrance to their winning ways since the start of the season. Goals do come from less expected players and their strong defense and superb goalkeeping secures the points

A lot of controversies have arisen regarding Romelu Lukakuinterviews with Sky Sport which saw the striker not listed in the squad against Liverpool last Sunday. It was surprising to see him play full-time today. I was rather glad than surprised because he adds up to the team no matter what. Thomas Tuchel has seen past the controversies that arose and he is willing to give the striker his fair share of playing time

Chelsea did not go easy on the possession today with a 4-2-3-1 formation. With their fair share of the ball came a total of 19 shots and 5 corners. Tottenham was grabbed 5 shots and only one corner throughout the game. In all, Chelsea has the loin's share of possession. That pop's the question, 'Are Chelsea still going strong on the possessive game?'. Your guess is as right as mine.

At the front of the goal, only 6 out of the 19 shots from Chelsea did hit the target. Chelsea saw 3 huge chances missed. Havertz failed to capitalize on the confusion in the box at the 13th min when the ball fell kindly to him. Lukaku met a perfect cross in mid-air from Ziyech but he timed his jump wrongly as the ball flew inches away from the right post. Werner failed on the chirp when he was played through on goal by Ziyech. Tottenham had only 2 shots on target during the whole game.

We've seen some impressive performances from Chelsea like the Champions League game against Juventus where Chelsea went on the rampage. Though missing some key players, can Chelsea keep up tonight's performance in their upcoming games?. Their next game against Chesterfield in the FA Cup wouldn't prove much difficulty but let's watch out for the League Cup Semi-finals return match at Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium on 12 January, 19:45
