Hello football lovers to my contest entry on my favourite football league.
There are so many leagues in the leagues but there's no doubt the European leagues are more appreciated.
These leagues include the Bundesliga, the English Premier League, La Liga, Seria A, Eredivisible, among others.
All these leagues can boast of great teams and great players and have unique qualities that are loved by fans.
My favourite football league is the English Premier League. I know there are a lot of people that think the epl is overated sometimes because epl fans are noisy and overhype the league. I for one know we epl fans are loud😅 but who can blame us when there's just so much to love about the league.
To begin, the epl in my opinion is the most competitive league. The epl consists of 20 teams that play a total of 38 matches every season for a chance to win the league title. The other 3 runner ups qualify for the champions league and the bottom 3 are relegated.
There's a primary "big 6" which comprises of man city, Chelsea, man United, Liverpool, tottenham and arsenal. Some of these clubs live up to their name year in year out while others keep falling.
It's in this league that even a newly promoted side or a club in the relegation battle can give a club in the top half of the table a good battle.

The teams in this league battle each other week in week out. Taking this season for example, Liverpool were overthrown by man city who started the season on a poor note. Man utd who started the season not so well ending up being second in the league through some miraculous comebacks and an unbeaten away run.
When the season started almost epl fan out there thought Liverpool would retain their title but how wrong we all were. They ended up having to fight their way up the league table barring some slip ups from their rivals.
It's only in this league that saw an unbeaten Anfield home record of 68 games broken by a lower mid table team Burnley. Its also in the epl that a relegated West brom tormented the big 6 each time they played them and managed to thrash Chelsea in a 5-2 thriller.
In addition, the premier league in my opinion plays the most attractive,tactical and entertaining football.
Epl games are so pacy and physical that make the matches very entertaining.
Modern football is known to be very tactical. But who thought tactical could also be attractive and entertaining.
We have Pep Guardiola's city playing tactical attractive 1-2 football each week, Tuchel's blues building attractively from the back, Ole's Man utd playing their best counter attacking and Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds playing free flow entertaining football.
I must say that Leeds United surprised most of us with their style of play in the league. They play very open attacking minded football which is what everyone loves to see. Even a Leeds United fans know that when their club loses, they always almost get entertained and this was the case in their 6-2 humbling to Manchester United.
The English Premier League is my favourite because it attracts the best players in the world. Year in year out, we have new players transferred into the epl from various parts of the world.
Some openly admit that the epl is the best and even Thomas Tuchel after replacing Frank Lampard at Chelsea has acknowledged how entertaining and challenging it is in the epl.
Kai Havertz had the option to go to Bayern arguably the best team in club football but chose to sign for Chelsea because he thinks winning a trophy at Chelsea means more than at bayern (this can be found on espn.com). Players like Lukaku,Haland, Sauchie are linked to epl teams this season and one is likely to happen.

The epl can also boast of good players like Aguero who recently joined Barcelona, Harry Kane, Mohammed Salah, Bruno Fernandes, Ngolo Kante, Ruben Dias, among others. There are generational talents like Phil Foden, Mason Mount, Mason Greenwood, Saka, James, etc.
There are so many good players in the epl that it is mostly difficult to choose the best. There are three likes of Pogba and Jesse Lingard with their beautiful goal celebrations.
The football pundits in the epl comprise of former players who know more about the game. So they are able to give good football analysis to the fans interested in post match and pre match analysis.

The epl has proven why it is the best and my favourite this season by having an all English champions league final. Both Chelsea and Man city faced touched opponents on their road to the final but managed to defeat them all.
Chelsea were crowned champions of Europe after beating mancity on Saturday.
For people who haven't watched epl matches or aren't convinced, I would just recommend that they watch Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United play.

Greetings my friend it looks like Chelsea is back to glory days. City and Chelsea are probably the strongest right now. Hopefully liverpool and the others will get stronger to provide a better title race next season.
Awesome entry. You gave compelling reasons why the epl is the best league out there. Teams from there have been doing really well for a while now and this year's ucl has been a testimony to that.
