Hello @worldoffootball Community, today I want to talk about the biography of my favourite footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Dos Santos Aveiro popularly known as Cristiano Ronaldo, or CR7 is a high class Portuguese professional footballer. Currently, he plays for the Italian giants, Juventus. He also plays for Portuguese National team.

He is also known as one of the greatest of all time with outstanding dribbles, wonderful goals, unique style of play, jumping ability and also, a very speedy Player.

EARLY LIFE
Cristiano Ronaldo was born on the 5th of February, 1985. He is the youngest child of his mother, Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro and his father, Jose Dinis Aveiro.
He was born in Funchal, an island of Madeira, in Portugal. Cristiano Ronald's parents were not that rich. His father was a gardener and his mother a cook. While growing up, life wasn't easy for him and his siblings. They all slept in one room with his siblings. Ronaldo also grew up as a Catholic.

CAREER
As a young boy, Cristiano Ronaldo played for his amateur team, Andorinha. The superstar was later signed out to sporting CP for 1500 Euros after a three-day trial. Cristiano Ronaldo later dropped out from school just so he could focus on his football career.
Added to that, the Portuguese player was expelled from school after throwing a chair at his teacher.

HIS CLUB CAREER

Cristiano Ronald's first professional football team was sporting CP. He played for the under 16 team and was later promoted to the first team that same season. Ronaldo became the first sporting CP player to play in the under-16, under-17, under-18, B-team and first team in a season, incredibly. His style of play made a lot of top football managers such as the then-Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier, Barcelona president, Joan Laporta, Arsenal Manager Arsene wenger. Alex Ferguson was lucky to bring Ronaldo to old Trafford after being impressed by his performance in a 3-1 defeat of Manchester United in August 2003.

Cristiano Ronaldo was signed from sporting CP to Manchester United on a £12.24millions deal.

In the 2003-2004 season, Cristiano Ronaldo became the most expensive teenage player and also, the first Portuguese signing for Manchester United. He proved his worth as he became one of the best players in Europe. While Ronaldo played in England, he became the first player to break the 20-goal barrier and helped United claim their first League title in four years.

Cristiano Ronaldo didn't left EPL unnoticed as he received a lot of awards, won multiple titles and also, broke so many records.

Cristiano Ronaldo also won an award (ballin d'or) which made him became the first EPL Player to be named the FIFA World Player of the Year. He won a total of nine trophies while at old Trafford.

Before the beginning of the 2009-2010 season, Ronaldo moved to real Madrid on a transfer record of €94millions, with a £1billions buyout clause with his contract set to expire in 2015. During his presentation at the Santiago bernabeu, a total of 80,000 fans was recorded, which broke the record of Diego maradona at Napoli presentation (25 years ago).
He had no trophies in his first season at Madrid but cmae second in the Ballon d’Or and FIFA World Player of the Year behind Lionel Messi. His second season was more than the previous one. They won the La liga title with his help, for the first time in four years. During his time at Madrid, he forged an attacking trio, known as the BBC, an acronym for Bale, Benzema and Cristiano with his fellow teammates.
Ronaldo won the FIFA Ballon d’Or an amalgamation of the FIFA World Player of the Year and the Ballon d’Or. Cristiano Ronaldo has broken a lot of records, keeping new ones too. He became the first Madrid Player to score a total of 5,900 goals. He also became the first player to score 100 goals in a UEFA club competition. He also won the Ballon d'or award four times. The highest point of his last days with Madrid was his bicycle kick goal in a 3-0 away win over Juventus which was lauded by the opposition fans. The goal was labelled as a “Playstation goal” by Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli.

After some rumours about a fast approaching move from Real Madrid, Ronaldo signed up a 100 million Euros transfer deal to Juventus. His deal price was the most expensive for a player over 30 years of age. Cristiano Ronaldo explain he had to go out for another adventure, but he later said that he had no support from the club president. He appeared for Juventus in a Serie An objective against Chievo on August 18, 2018. In his first victors group appearance for Juventus, he was shipped off because of vicious direct.
His debut goal for Juventus was against chievo on 18th August, 2018.

After beginning his national team career in 2001, Ronaldo became a regular face in the Portuguese National team squad, appearing in the 2002 URFA European Under-17 Football Championship, the 2004 summer Olympic as well as in the under-15, under-17, under-20, under-21 and under-23 national teams, before debuting for the senior team at age 18. After a series of trials at the Euros, Ronaldo finally led Portugal to the Euros success in 2016. He last featured for the Portuguese side in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia where he had a spectacular performance.
