Hello friends welcome to my blog today once again, it is another contest by @jacorv, so this article is in response to the contest about your best Your Best Retired XI. You can click the link to participate but first, let's read together to the end to see my best retired Eleven players.
Goalkeeper
Edwin Van Der Sar is a Dutch footballer that played as a goal keeper. Edwin has played for both Juventus, Fulham, Ajax and Manchester united where I watched his games, he is indeed a professional goalkeeper.
He was born on the October 29 1970 and has currently retired from football, Edwin is currently working as the chief executive officer at ajax. He is considered as one of the best goal keepers in the world of football.
I choose him for the fact that he knows how to organise his defence and his ability of stopping penalties. Edwin has won many trophies during his career as a footballer. Checkout some of his achievements below as a footballer during his career.

Fabio Cannavaro is an Italian footballer, that played for both Napoli and Parma. He is currently the manager of the Chinese side "Guangzhou Evergrande. Fabio cannavaro has also played for his National team "Italy"
He Assisted the team to reach her finals in UEFA Euro 2000, He became the captain of his national team in the year 2002. Fabio also led his national team to their victory of the 2006 FIFA world Cup that was played in Germany. Checkout some of his achievements below.

Few Reasons Why I Chose Fabio Cannavaro.
- He can Play as a Left or Right sided full back
- Cannavaro has a Nice Heading Accuracy and Nice positioning Sense.
- He is very good in creativity & positioning
Javier Aldelmar Zanetti is an Argentune Retired footballer that can play in two aspect, during his football career, He plays as a Full back or even midfielder. He was born in the year 1973 on August 10.
Based on research, Zanetti is the seventh foreign player that has most career appearance. Zanetti also is know as the Captain that has the most appearance in the UEFA champions league game.
He played for the Italian side "Inter Milan" he also played at talleres where he began his football career and later moved Banfied. As professional footballer during his time, checkout his honors on the tabulated list.

- He has excellent Ball control
- He is very good in terms of dribbling and acceleration
- Zanetti is a man of Determination and consistency.
Carles Puyol is a Spanish retired footballer that played as a central defender. Puyol is regarde as one of the best defender of his generation. He played at Barcelona where he captained the club around august 2004 until his retirement date at 2014. He won 100 caps at his national team, he was also among the squad that won the Euro 2008 and the 2010's world cup. you can check out some of his honors below.

Roberto Carlos was born on the 10th of April 1973. He is a Brazilian player that was considered as one of the best left back(LB), history has it that carlos was known for his excellent free kick player. Carlos joined real madrid where he played 584 games with 71 goals at all competitions.
At Real madrid , carlos won 4 Laliga titles with 3 UEFA champions league titles. He later announce his retirement at the age of 39. check out some of his individual achievements.

Xavier Creus was born on the 25 January 1980. He is nicknamed "Xavi". Xavi is a spanish footballer that played for Barcelona during his football career. he is currently the spanish football manager and manager of Al Sadd club at the Qatar Stars League. He is also regarded as one of the best footballer of his generations, also one of the best midfielder of all time. Xavi won 8 laliga titles and 4 Champions league titles with barcelona.

David Joseph Beckham is an English Retired player that was born on the 2 of May 1975, during his football careeer, he played for Manchester United, Real Madrid, Preston North End, PSG and his National team England. beckham was the first English player to have won 4 different coutries league titles.
Beckham started his football career with Manchester United at the age of 17 where he won 6 premier league titles with FA CUP title twice and one UEFA. He also played at Real Madrid, He retired in may 2013. He was known for his crossing ability.

Another Amazing footballer of all time, Ryan Joseph Giggs. He was born on thee 29th of November 1973. Giggs played at Manchester united where he later became a temporal manager after the club sacked David Moyes in April 2014. He also played for Wales his international team where he was named the captain of the great Britain team. Diego Maradona, is another wonderful player that really did exploit i his time. He was born on the 30th of October 1960, he is an Argentine footballer that was widely regarded as one of the greatest footballer of all time. during his time, he was known as a free kick specialist.
Based on research, Maradona was among the two joint players that won the FIFA player of the 20th century award. When i watched his highlights on youtube, i was amazed because of his dribbling, passing and ball control. you can checkout his individual achievements on the table below.

Another great striker of all time, Ronaldo de Lima was a brazilian footballer that was widely know as the greatest striker of all time, popuperly know as Ronaldo, during his time, hw won the FIFA world player of the year about 3 times and 2 Ballon d'Or awards.
Ronaldo Started his football career at the brazilian side "Cruzeiro" before moving to PSV where he did some exploits that triggered the spanish side "Barcelona" to include him in thier club. he joined barcelona in 1996 where he was named the FIFA World Player of the Year, check out the table below for his achievement.

- His Technical Creative skills.
- He was not a greedy player, he is capable of assisting his team mates, very fast and has an excellent body movement
- He is not an injury kind player, he has often stayed free of injury.

4-2-3-1 is the formation that i used to arrange my favourite Retired XIs, in this formation the players are arranged in four different groups, The defensive group covers the centre backs and full backs with two defensive midfielder.
The attacking aspects has 3 attacking Midfielders and 1 central striker, the side midfieders are there to do dribbling and crossing into the Box while the attacking central midfielder which is Diego Maradona often the No 10 is placed there to make some creative pass either to the side midfieders or to the strike.
