So this is my Contest Entry for Contest No.9 of the Premier League Prediction Contest.
Predictions:
Home Team | Score Prediction | Away Team |
---|---|---|
Crystal Palace | 0-2 | Spurs |
Brentford | 2-1 | Brighton |
Man. United | 3-1 | Newcastle |
Southampton | 1-2 | West Ham |
Leicester | 2-3 | Man. City |
Chelsea | 2-1 | Villa |
Leeds | 2-2 | Liverpool |
Everton | 2-0 | Burnley |
Brief Game-wise analysis:
Palace v Spurs
Crystal Palace would look to take enough courage from their 2-2 stalemate against Everton. However Nuno's men could win the bet with the likes of Kane, Son, Alli and Bergweijn ready to fire all cylinders.Brentford v Brighton
Newcomers Brentford City return for their second home fixture of the season where they defeated Arsenal on the opening day. The Seagulls have 2 wins out of 3 games so far and would like to capitalise on games like this to consolidate their position on the points table.Man United v Newcastle
Well, this match holds great significance among the footballing fraternity because the world could witness the second debut and presentation of Cristiano Ronaldo. Newcastle have no pressure on them and would look to cause an upset in such an occasion. The Red Devils should negotiate the game comfortably.Southampton v West Ham
Hosts Southampton have been hit by the departure of a host of influential players during the transfer window. They still look for their first win of the season. West Ham on the other hand, have been reinforced by manager David Moyes and look to build on their impressive start.Leicester City v Manchester City
Action shifts to the King Power Stadium where the Foxes host holders City. After an opening day defeat, City correct themselves by scoring 5-0 each in the next two games vs Norwich and Arsenal respectively. Leicester City would be very cautious against such a red-hot city side and try to maximize their returns from the game.Chelsea v Aston Villa
Chelsea has made a terrific start to the season with 2 wins and a draw. Now bolstered by the arrival of Lukaku, they won't like to disappoint their fans at home this weekend. Villa have sailed a topsy turvy path after star player Jack Grealish left for Man City. But Danny Ings could prove a point at Stamford Bridge next up.Leeds v Liverpool
Marcelo Bielsa's strategy lock horns against Jurgen Klopp's shrewd tactics. This will be an interesting David v Goliath battle this weekend. Leeds have been charged up by the arrival of Welsh winger Daniel James from Man United. Liverpool with their pool of superstars could be hard to beat. Only time will tell.Everton v Burnley
The likes of Richardson, Gray, Calvert Lewin and Doucoure have all been impressive to watch in the opening three games for the Toffees. Now they host Burnley at the Goodison Park. Burnley meanwhile have their task cut out as they have lost two and drawn one of the three played so far.
This weekend awaits a list of mouth-watering clashes from the Premier League and no wonder why, fans hate the international break so much. Cristiano Ronaldo's debut could also break a few TV viewership records worldwide, such is the impact of this footballer.

Hi @brahmaputra. The World Of Football Community at this time does not have curator support.
But I love football. To encourage us, and try to get the curators back I am doing prediction contests which are objective because it all depends on the results of the matches.
Thanks for your participation and for coming back. Good luck with your predictions!
Love to see that as a woman you follow this beautiful game. Something that is so uncommon in my country, i.e. girls/women taking interest in football. Keep up the good work.
I will be participating in most of your contests now..
