Interesting Story - In the wrong club by mistake
From the age of 13, the Portuguese club Sporting Club Braga bought Neto. After spending almost four years in the youth team, the Portuguese youngster was promoted to the main team in 2017. But a few months after joining the main team, he was sent on loan to Italian club Lazio. The loan period was 2 years. And then if the player likes it, after two years, that Lazio will be able to buy him for sure. Braga also lends to another young star, Bruno Jordan, along with Neto. It was said that Latzio would have to pay a total of 26 million euros to keep them on the team after two years. 12 for Neto and 14 for Jordan. The incident started 2 years later.
Lazio decided to buy Neto in 2019. Although the thinking has been going on since 2017. So after a season, Lazio started thinking about paying it in installments. According to him, they also pay it. But a month later, Lazio received a good offer for Neto from English Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers. So the Italian team sold there for 18 million.
That's why at the end of the first season, Braga had to pay a total of 6 million euros and then another 5 million, a total of 12 million euros. But Lazio did not pay. Lazio's account was found and he was rescued. From 2017 to 2020, there was no transaction between the Latzio account and the Brager account. Rather Lenadena has been with Sporting Lisbon. On July 1, 2017, the Italian club gave the first check of 8.5 million Euros to Lisbon. On March 17 of the following year, Latzio bought him for another 2.5 million euros. But all the money went into Lisbon's pockets. Although Pedro Neto is away from the two clubs and is having the best time of his career, he has already scored 4 goals in 18 games this season. The 21-year-old is said to be having his best time under Portuguese coach Nuno Espirito.
Really ... an interesting mistake. I hadn't noticed it myself.
