Another great contest her is again and this time is a massive one, I congratulate @njaywan for masterminding this great idea and to those that have been supporting football contest, We appreciate. Football is one of the pretty games that has so many roles in it. Most of us might football is all about the players and coaches on the pitch, Absolutely no, football can employ so many people. Real Madrid football club has over 933 employees working for them. Football has some many avenues attached to it, From coaches to ball boy, they all play an important role in the game of football.
Like the contest rightly described, football has so many roles being it, players, assistant coaches, team doctors, referees, and so on so forth. The roles are numerous but my favorite among these is COMMENTATOR

History of Commentary

On January 22, 1927, BBC Radio broadcast a football match for the very first time a Division 1 fixture between Arsenal and Sheffield United at Highbury. Former rugby player, Teddy Wakelam called the match that day.
Sports broadcasting was so new that Radio Times published a diagram of a football pitch, divided into eight numbered squares. While Wakelam called the play, another voice would call out numbers corresponding to the area of the pitch the action was taking place. This allowed listeners to follow the match at home, using the grid — and was thought to be the origins of the phrase, “back to square one”.
At the time, it was thought that radio coverage would affect match attendance and newspaper sales, but by 1931 the BBC were broadcasting over one hundred games a season. Six years later, they presented the first football match on live television.

So from the little history about commentary in football, people got the passion, the love for football through commentary. This is amazing.

Why I choose the role of commentator:
*Commentators gives deeper analysis to the game of football. This means they have in-depth knowledge in the game of football.
commentators makes the game very exciting. I firstly thought only fans makes the game beautiful with their presence in the stadiums, but after Covid-19, commentators have really made us to enjoy the game even without the fans.
Football without commentary will just be boring and won't even be interesting to watch.
Fans were ban from stadium and many sports officials but commentators still have the rights to enter into the stadium, Why? Because football won't be complete without them. They bring feedbacks from the pitch to supporters at home and they are the reasons why many follow the game at home even without Television.

Some great commentators have inspired me a lot.

• Andy Gray
• Peter Drury and so many others, But the one I was look up to is Peter Drury.

A short Profile of Peter Drury
Peter is a British born in 1967 formerly with ITV Sport as their number two football commentator, a role he had held from 1998 to 2013. Currently, Drury works for Premier League Productions, BT Sport (UK) for its English Premier League and FA Cup coverage, as well as for CBS Sports (USA) on its UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League coverage. He is one of the best 10 commentators we have across the world. I love listening to him and I always wish I can be like him. I always listened to his analysis of the game which has helped me a lot to write up my post.

My goal as a commentator
Just as Peter has reached I would work very hard and my wish is to give commentary at the final of the world cup. World cup without doubt is the greatest football tournament and it would my greatest achievement to take that honor. And will continue to do my best to be the number 1 commentator around the world.
