La selección nacional de tu país - Concurso // Your country's national team - Competition [ESP-ENG]
¡Hola a todos los amantes del deporte!
Hello to all sport lovers!
A pleasure for me to come back again with sport matters, this time, to participate in the initiative of my friend @marcybetancourt, where I will have to write about the national selection of my country. If you want to join, just enter through this publication.
And who is my selection?
For years now, my Vinotinto team (Venezuela), has stopped being Cinderella because of its excellent matches and the quality of players it has. Some of them, in Europe and few in the local Venezuelan League, where they also have their chance to play with the Vinotinto in high intensity friendly matches.
Likewise, like all national teams, Venezuela has its weaknesses and strengths in each game, where little by little I will highlight them in this publication, as well as other indispensable points of this competition.
Mi país: ¡Venezuela! // My country: Venezuela!
And what about my selection? My Venezuelan national team was created in 1925 and made its official debut on February 12, 1938 against Panama in the Central American and Caribbean Games. After several passages and humiliations, including "La Vinotinto", I took flight and was playing well and surprising locals and strangers. Goals like those of Arango in his time as a player, are what make us dream and be closer to the world cup dream of all. Likewise, Venezuela, managed to carry out a Copa America in 2007, where Brazil would be the champion of the most demanding tournament.
Algunas fortalezas y debilidades de mi selección // Some strengths and weaknesses of my selection
In the strengths, I can highlight the experience and skill of our people in all their positions. Their gallantry and attitude in every game, in a clear demonstration of the goal to be achieved to go to the World Cup in Qatar 2022. Now, regarding the Vinotinto's weaknesses, I have noticed that most of the players have wanted to score a goal and not assist their teammate at the right time. These are essential points that we must correct as the South American qualifying round progresses.
Para tener en cuenta // To keep in mind
The uniform of the Venezuelan national team, unites the colors yellow, blue and red, where you get that clothing called "La Vinotinto", a nickname that was born in the Bolivian games of 1938, thanks to the committee, which assigned the color "Burgundy", known as the color "Vinotinto". Since then, that nickname prevails and others like "Llanero".
¿Y quienes están en la selección? // And who is in the selection?
A total of 29 players are in the Venezuelan national team. Most of them have a lot of experience abroad and others are emerging step by step. In this list, you will find the following players: Wuilker Fariñez, Rafael Romo, Alain Baroja, Ronald Hernández, Rolf Feltscher, Roberto Rosales, Wilker Ángel, Jhon Chancellor, Mikel Villanueva, Yordan Osorio, Nahuel Ferraresi, Luis Mago, Júnior Moreno, Bernaldo Manzano, Tomás Rincón, Yangel Herrera, Cristian Cásseres Jr, Renzo Zambrano, Juan Pablo Añor, Rómulo Otero, Jhon Murillo, Jefferson Savarino, Darwin Machís, Yeferson Soteldo, Sergio Córdova, Salomón Rondón, Andrés Ponce, Jan Hurtado and Fernando Aristeguieta.
La fe sigue intacta desde pequeño // Faith remains intact since childhood
I am not the one to say if my team will qualify for the World Cup in Qatar 2022, but I can tell you that with this generation of players, we have faith and hope intact. Against Chile we showed a good soccer performance and I hope that for Mazo against Ecuador and Peru we will manage to get good results, in order to add up in the qualifying rounds, which are the most difficult ones in competitive terms.

Hi @anthony2019, great post for the entry on the contest.
That is truly a great way to present the Venezuelan national team to the world.
One thing, I couldn't tell if your images are copyright-free since the site doesn't specify. Please refer to the post below for guidance.
Many thanks 🙌
COMPLETE GUIDE ON HOW & WHERE TO OBTAIN COPYRIGHT-FREE FOOTBALL IMAGES
The images are not in the public domain. I already checked. I think users have a hard time finding CCO images.
Thanks for putting the link in the guide.
Certainly...
I see that can be a problem when making a football post. Are there any specific spanish sites under public domain?
I would gladly pin an extra copyright-free guidelines for all to find suitable images for their post.
Greetings :)
I still can't find a public domain image site in Spanish (for football players)
