Greetings to all steemians on this noble platform, I deem it a great honor to write my entry for this weeks’ contest. I also use this opportunity to say a very big thank you to @njaywan for organizing such a wonderful contest.

Football as we all know grants job opportunities in many areas and this includes the following roles; referee/assistant referee, scout work, club president, football manager, football player, mascot, welfare officer, secretary, and so on.
All this role in the football world is what makes football as it is now, but in preference, as to choose one of these roles, I would go in for Football Manager.

WHO IS A FOOTBALL MANAGER?
Football Manager is the one that helps in guiding and coaching his team members and also helps them unlock their football ability. The football manager is the one that organizes the team for fixtures, leads them during matchdays and also organizes training sessions for the team.
Simply put, a football manager is one who manages a football team.

THE ROLE OF A FOOTBALL MANAGER
When it comes to the roles of a football manager, there are many roles of a football manager which includes the following:

1. Selection of Players for matches
2. Good Selection of formation to be used during matches
3. Putting up a good plan strategy and commanding the players on the pitch
4. Giving the players words of encouragement before, during, and after the match
5. They assign duties to first-team coaches and to the coaching and medical staff.
6. They are also responsible for scouting young but talented players into their team for further training at the youth academy level.

1. They also sell and purchase players in the transfer market when the transfer window is opened.
2. They are also responsible for giving out pre-match and post-match interviews to the fans out there.
3. Football managers also play a vital role in growing and keeping the club profitable.
4. Football manager also monitors and improves the performances of the team.
5. They also teach relevant skills, tactics, and techniques to the team.
6. Applying for sponsorship is also one of the roles of a football manager.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO BE A FOOTBALL MANAGER
As we all know that before one is considered for any job, he/she has to obtain certain qualifications and so it is for football manager job as well. Before one can achieve the job of football manager, the following qualifications are supposed to be met;

1. One is required to have recognized coaching qualifications from The Football Association (FA). The coaching qualifications are in three stages which include, level 1 stage, Semi-professional level, and lastly the Professional level.

2. One is again required to have obtained a sports degree such as sports science.

3. One is also required to have obtained a DBS check and also finished The FA Safeguarding Children Workshop.

4. Before one becomes a football manager, he/she may be required to study the Introduction to First Aid in Football (IFAiF) course in order to have the knowledge of first aid.

The following includes the reasons that I choose the football manager role over other roles in the football world;

1. They put in belief in their players and instruct on them something to fight for during matches.
2. Football managers instill proper discipline in their team and as a result, promote discipline in the field of football as large.
3. Due to the experience of Football managers, they help to bring ONENESS to the team and club as a whole.

MY GOALS FOR MY FIRST YEAR OF A FOOTBALL MANAGER
The following highlights the goals I would set down as a football manager in my first year of office;

1. First and foremost, I would make sure to dominate over my rivals.
2. I would concentrate on developing my academy team into superstars
3. I would also make sure that all my fans out there would be singing on every match day by putting my tactical style to the test.
4. I would also make sure to bring the best players to the club or team.
5. I would create my own style of play to develop the potentials of the team.

Among all the thousands of football managers in the globe, there is only one and only football manager that I admire the most, and looking forward to being like him. It is with great pleasure that I announce that Pep Guardiola is the man among all football managers. He is the football manager who admires the most among all football managers.

REASONS FOR CHOOSING HIM AS THE BEST AMONG ALL MANAGERS
I choose Pep Guardiola as the best manager among all managers because of the following;

1. He is confident: Pep doesn’t have any fear regarding the team he would be facing because of the belief he has instilled in his players and it doesn’t matter which of his players are available for a match.

2. His style of play: Pep Guardiola’s Tiki Taka Style of playing against his opponent is one of the managerial skills that admire the most from him and also wishes to utilize that in the near future when I become a football manager one day.

3. His Tactical Skills Used: Pep Guardiola use different tactical skills in beating his opponent which includes; overcoming press of the opposing forwards, creating and exploiting overloads in wide areas, attacking via the center with the forward dropping back to receive, switching play to the weak side when the overload is blocked against the 4-3-3, and also attacking against a back 5. I really enjoy Man City’s match due to all these tactics used by Pep.

Wow, it’s very astonishing and really amazing to see such a wonderful achievement from a single manager. This is absolutely an impressive achievement from him. I think for now there is no doubt to my saying that Pep Guardiola is the best Football Manager among all managers in the world of football.
