Return Of The English Premier League 2021/2022 Season And The Opening Fixtures
Football lovers can not still wait to see the premier league get into action again. It has been a while since the end of the 2020/2021 season where Manchester City were crowned champions making it the third time since Pep Guardiola joined them in 2016. Most of the players have still not reported to their various clubs due to the participation in the Euros and Copa America and the ongoing Olympics but they will very soon. The English Premier League is one of the best and most interesting European competition in the world.
The 2021/2022 season will begin on the 13 of August 2021 and end on the 22 of May 2022. All the fixtures of the the upcoming season is ready and will kick off on the 13 of August that will be on Friday. The opening fixture of the 2021/2022 season will be Brentford against Arsenal and the following matches will continue the next day. Looking at how the teams are doing the signings, this season is going to be very competitive and interesting as compared to the previous seasons.
The current champions of the premier league (Manchester City) will be facing Spurs as their opening game and Nuno Espírito Santo former Wolverhampton Wonderers manager will be playing his first premier league game as a new Spurs manager for the 2021/2022 season. It is going to be a tough match and it is one of the toughest games in the opening ceremony of the new season. But who knows? Let’s wait and see what happens on that day. It is going to be an outstanding season since there have been new rules governing the play and improvement in the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) room.
