Of the various flightless avifauna species found in the southern hemisphere, penguins are the best known. They stand out because of their structural changes that help them adapt to the water environment. These remarkable aquatic mammals are jet-bodied and endowed with sturdy wing-like flippers that help them in deep diving and swimming where they hunt fish and krill for food.
In the natural setting, penguins appear to be swift flyers and elegant swimmers in the deep, cold waters where they hunt for food. Whiles in the water, they are most often found in groups probably for social reasons as well as safety, since they are predated upon. The grandeur diversity of these birds extends to their individual species, including the Emperor in all its splendor and the Little Blue Penguin in all its cuteness.
Most visitors wanting to experience the wonders of these reptiles in a more personal way are somewhat disappointed because such dioramas are present in every part of the world’s geographies, though by constructing a surrounding environment that features penguins in an aquarium instead of polar bears. It is common for such plays or educational activities, to include aspects of the animals' life and feeding habits, and threats faced by the particular animal. All these measures not only serve for purpose of recreation but also real problems of the world where penguins reside and breed in, such as climate change or loss of natural habitats are addressed as well.
