The Bengali people have always been a festival-loving people. The common expression "Thirteenth celebration of the Bengali people in a year" is not exaggerated in the least. The Bengalis' lives are portrayed in the light of many festivals throughout the year. This adoration can be said to contain the entire soul of the Bengali nation. As soon as the monsoon clouds dissipated and the fall sun appeared, Bengalis' minds began to calculate how many more days it would take for mother Durga to arrive. Even though there are hundreds of festivals, Bengalis who are busy with their everyday routine are looking forward to this one.

Because it is celebrated in the autumn, it is also known as Sharadotsab. There is no other celebration that has such a worldwide feeling of unity among all people, regardless of wealth, poverty, men and women, young and old. The form of the Bengali nation's Durga Puja is inconceivable and enthralling to the entire country and the world.

This fort festival's backdrop is breathtakingly gorgeous. The rain-washed blue sky began to change into golden sunshine after the dark blue clouds had vanished. The exquisite scent of hyacinth blooms falling on dew-drenched grass became a source of life. White cashew flowers bloomed like autumn cotton in Bengal's fields and ghats, as well as in river deserts.

It's as though nature is changed into a gorgeous décor as soon as Durga heralds the presence of her mother. Shri Ramchandra had prepared for Goddess Durga's untimely awakening in the autumn to end all tragedies in such a lovely environment in one of the ancient ages. Bengalis remember mother Durga every autumn, continuing the tradition.

Durga Puja has a different religious, cultural, and social importance for Bengalis than it has for the rest of the subcontinent. Bengalis' favorite autumn event is the traditional Durga Puja. This Bengali celebration is usually held on the auspicious day of the Ashwin month. From the sixth through the tenth day of that white wing, the goddess is worshipped.

Durga VI is the name given to these five days. Devipaksha is another name for this political party. The goddess celebration commences in the new moon through the mahalaya at the end of the period. People pay honor to their ancestors on Mahalaya's holy day. The goddess side, on the other hand, comes to a conclusion with the adoration of Goddess Lakshmi in the holy light of the Kojagari full moon. This Sharodatsab holds a special place in the hearts of all Bengalis around the world.
