Betterlife, The Diary Game (01 October 2022) | 'Arepa Durian' To My Venezuela'Friend @inspiracion

Assalamu'alaikum, all of my friends who are here or in whatever country you are in, may we all be healthy always.

Glad to be able to share stories with all steemit friends here, on this occasion I want to tell my activities today that are full of enthusiasm.

Morning

The cloudy day and the light rain that fell from the sky soaked all the plants and also the smell of the rain had also managed to make this mind less excited. Blankets are friends who have been so loyal to me these past few days, clothes that are still wet from the rain yesterday afternoon I also started drying them one by one. Not much, just two pairs of my clothes and my son's clothes. I just hope today the clothes can dry, afraid it will be moldy and smelly.

There are also not many children who go to school, even the vehicles that are usually crowded in front of my house are also very quiet. My stomach felt hungry quickly, but there was only cornstarch, eggs, milk, and butter in the refrigerator. I remembered the typical Venezuelan breakfast, Arepa. I started by mixing all the ingredients and adding the durian flesh which I saved yesterday to make durian pancakes, but because the ingredients were lacking, I put it off maybe it's time for me to try Arepa.

I formed the Arepa dough and filled it with durian flesh then baked it with butter, is that right? Please tell me. When I made it, I remembered my friend in Venezuela @inspiracion , I made this for him too, whether he likes durian or not I don't know, but I would recommend Arepa Durian with sweetened condensed milk on it to him. Hey guys, this is for you and I want him to relax a bit more and enjoy this Durian arepa, he must be too busy at the moment.

Afternoon

It turned out that this Arepa Durian had run out while waiting for lunch. The kids really liked it, and so did my husband. I'm glad I made it, it turns out that Venezuelan friends are right that arepa is very tasty and suitable for breakfast. My daughter asked me to cook her "Ikan Kuah Minyak", she really likes it especially the fish is also her favorite. I grind the spices and cook it with coconut milk.

My daughter was very happy and she ate it voraciously even though it was a little spicy. We ate together and after that the children went to watch television before taking a nap, and I cleaned myself up and then prayed the midday prayer. After that I bathed the children and we rested together. I then woke up during the call to prayer for Asr prayer, then I went back to the Asr prayer and swept the front room and straightened some clothes, and the wet clothes I had dried before were not yet dry.

I was just about to sit down. The children greeted me with their wrinkled faces, I hugged them and we promised to make them fried. I fried bakwan and the kids ate while playing, they really enjoyed it. Even after that they played with their little friends in front of the house.

Night

After maghrib prayer and dinner, I watched the news that there had been floods everywhere, not only in the country, abroad as well. Earth is getting old. I then accompanied the children to play the train, they were very happyespecially when it rains and makes the atmosphere even colder. The children then felt hungry again, they asked me to make a cake. I was confused and with improvised materials I made empek-empek with the children.

After cooking, we ate together and it was so delicious, I don't feel like eating. After that we watched for a while and then rested after today's fun activities, I led the Children to read a sleep prayer, and I tried to learn to write and make this post.
