SEC S6W2: What Do You Do When You Are Bored
What causes the feeling of boedom to come, can you identify the cause?
So boredom comes from so many reasons, but I will be sharing personal reasons why I feel bored.
• Lack of Excitement in the thing I'm doing causes me to be bored. Whenever I am not doing what I like or enjoy I get tired and bored easily. We all know that our hobbies will always give us drive to continue, but when we are not enjoying what we are doing we get bored.
• Another reason I get bored is when I lack motivation or mental stimulation to continue in what I am doing. Motivation is Like a fuel that keeps us going
• Inadequate rest can result to being bored and uninterested even in something that you have always enjoyed doing.
How do you overcome boredom, what activities do you do
When I am bored, there are some things I do to rekindle me again. I am going to share them with you
• Writing is one of them. Whenever I am bored, I pick up a pen and my journal and write. This method always work for me. It helps me pour out my stress and boredom into a book. I express myself and my present predicament while writing
• Reading a book on a subject I enjoy so much can also help me in relieving boredom. Mostly, comic books are good for this job. I prefer reading spiritual books
• Chatting or Calling a loved one can also reduce boredom. Whenever I am with family and friends, I can never be bored
• Getting recreative is also a major point. Whenever I am bored, I look out for means to recreate a thing. It can be recycling a used cloth into a bag, our a bottle into a flower vase etc

Share with us some tips to prevent or overcome boredom
• Learn new things everyday and try to work on them. This will make sure you are occupied through out the entire day
• Read a book on a subject you love most
• Be with loved family and friends
• Socialize with people. Make new friends, Business partners. Go to parties, concerts, conferences, business submits, church camps etc
• Leave no scheduled gap, fill in your schedule
•Resting or taking a break can help rejuvenate you. You can take a nap of 1 hour and you will feel fresh and better
• Be your best and first motivator

Boredom is more serious than we take it. It can range from just simple loneliness to being depressed. Psychologist say boredom is an emotional state of being restless and unsatisfied. Imagine that poor state of being restless and unsatisfied. Boredom if frequent can be an emotional/mental issue and should b looked into with all attention as fast as possible.
There is a popular saying "an idle man is the devil's workshop". When you're bored and idle, many things run through your mind and most of them might not be good and healthy to your health.
It has been stated that men and women get bored on different range and severity. 63% for men and 27% for women. This is to say men get bored more than women.
People who frequently experience boredom have greater chances of becoming drug and alcohol addict, gambling addict, school dropout, reckless drivers, domestic abusers, doing poor in academic and business and sucidal
Conclusion
Boredom can be normal when it happens rarely, but when it happens very often, it can need a psychologist. When i get bored, I engage in learning new things, socializing with people and reading

Boredom can be bad and can make one to reason on something wrong. But being occupied with the things you just mentioned like reading interesting story, writing, chatting and calling dear loved ones can make up for the boredom. You have written so well and I wish you success
