In this way, in our country, different religions have their own historical customs, which we all celebrate with great pomp. The eagerness to know the way of celebrating each other's customs and traditional stories related to it remains in everyone's mind. Today I am going to describe about one such festival.
Today I am describing about the festival of Janmashtami which is celebrated on the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna. Lord Krishna was born in the prison on Ashtami Tithi at 12:00 in the night. His mother's name is Devaki and father's name is Vasudev. But his mother Devaki's brother Kansa had imprisoned mother Devaki and father Vasudev in prison, because Kansa was afraid that the one who would be Devaki's son would kill Kansa. That's why Kansa had imprisoned Devaki's mother. That as soon as he has a son, Kansa will kill him.
But Lord Krishna was born from the womb of Devaki's mother. When the Lord was born, all the soldiers in the prison fell asleep, the locks opened automatically and father Vasudev left Lord Krishna in a basket, crossing the river Yamuna, to mother Yashoda and Nand Baba in another village, so that their child could be saved. May life be saved.
We celebrate the festival of Janmashtami with great pomp. The birth anniversary of Lord Shri Krishna is celebrated in every temple at 12:00 in the night. Lord Shri Krishna loved butter very much. He was very fickle, the story of his fickleness and his miracles is well known. On the day of Janmashtami,
we all keep fast and eat fruits and after the birth of Lord Krishna at 12:00 in the night, we all break our fast by worshiping and applying clothes, ornaments and bhog to him.
On the day of Janmashtami, we all decorate the temples of our homes and celebrate the birthday of Lord Krishna with pomp. The temple is decorated with rangoli, flowers and lights. The fragrance of flowers spreads throughout the atmosphere, making the atmosphere devotional.
Bhajans of Lord Krishna echo in all the temples, homes. Lord Krishna's Chhathi is celebrated 6 days after Shri Krishna Janmashtami. At various places Krishna Bal Leelas are performed by the children and Matki Phod program is performed. In which people are also given a reward for breaking the pot. This is a very colorful programme.
I would like to invite my few friends @m-fdo @patjewell , @ripon0630 , @josepha , @wilmer1988 , @sur-riti .

I love reading about the traditions of the various cultures, religions, and countries. Each has its own story to tell.
Thank you for thinking of me.
Everyone has their own cultures. Different types of culture are also seen in India. Till the month of November, we will have festivals one after the other and I will keep introducing you to our culture through my blog. The festival of Janmashtami is being celebrated here today.
