The price of bitcoin is increasing rapidly. After more than 15 months, the price of Bitcoin rose to a record high on Monday (June 24). According to the news agency Reuters, the value of Bitcoin has exceeded 11 thousand US dollars. Today it has risen to more than 12 thousand.
According to a report in the Guardian, the price of Bitcoin has been rising since the news of the launch of Libra cryptocurrency on Facebook this week. The price of this currency has increased up to two thousand dollars this week. The price of Bitcoin has started rising again since February this year.
In 2016, the value of this currency rose to 20 thousand US dollars. However, many investors have suffered losses since then when prices have started falling since last year.
In January 2009, Bitcoin appeared on the world currency market as a digital currency. Transactions are done entirely electronically or online.
Bitcoin is basically a lot like shares or currencies traded in the world of internet. So its price fluctuates regularly. It is itself a medium of exchange like the dollar or the euro.
In some countries of the world, Bitcoin is used to a limited extent as its own currency. Bitcoin transactions are completed in a cryptographic process.
