SHARE WITH US YOUR BEST FRIEND IN HIGH SCHOOL
Greetings to you all in this beloved community today. My name is @preshy101 and this is my first time to participate in this community contest.
Today I will join other steemians to participate in this awesome contest that has been scheduled by one of the MOD in the community in person of @ruthjoe and the contest is about sharing my high school best friend with the community. Here comes my article below.
I do have a best friend in high school and funny enough my best friend is a she. Her name is patience and we have been good friends right from time. She and her family once lived close to the area I reside and we happened to know each other in the community before knowing ourselves in school.
It was because of how my school helped me to perform well in my academics, patience parent then decided to enroll her into my school and she was admitted in same class as I. Ever since then our bond became so strong that we do things together in school and at home.
I and patience were always inseparable as if we were born by the same parent. We equally like each other so well but in a fair way. She is so great and a lovely personality to be with.
My mum is patience mum's colleague at home and they are in good term as well. It came to a point that patience parent decided to pack out from the place they were staying because the distance from her home to her work place is far and she spent lots of money just on transportation.
My mum then gave her a friendly advice to pack out from that place to a place whereby the transportation fair is not that high and that area was where we resided. So she agreed and the next month they came close to our place.
I assisted them in packing their things inside their apartment and that was where I met patience coming down from the van during the packing process. That was how we met and created acquaintance with each other.
She does inspire me a lot. She is a fast learner and that I envy so much which I never told her before. I was doing well in school to the point that I always fall among the first 10 in class. I thought that was enough until patience came and broke the record.
In just a term, patience was among the top 5 in class and that triggered me to do better. I admire her learning attitude so well and so she inspires me a lot but you know, guys would always be guys. We don't come out plain to tell a lady that she inspires us.
Patience likes her native food so well because she was trained in that manner but she came to like it so well. She likes her native food called Ona and Okoho soup. She rarely eat rice and spaghetti or other type of dishes but the native food she like the most.
Yes we still keep in touch till date. Although patience is now happily married to a guy who came and swept her off her feet. It was so disheartening when I heard that she was getting married, although I had a crush on her but I didn't tell her because I do not want to lose my friendship with her. Thank God today she is married with a son and the family are living happily.
In conclusion, Patience is a wonderful feature of a virtuous wife. She is brave, she is bold and she is courageous. Her passion for success is high and she works hard to attain the level she aspire for. She is of good character and loved by many.
