Part II

The chainsaw noise has finally stopped. Damn! You thought those guys were supposed to be retired. I guess the old dog's still got some life in him!

Seriously, who thinks it's a good idea to Chainsaw between 3am and 6am??? Lunatics.

Suddenly a thought crosses your mind. Maybe he's had an accident. Maybe another resident took a disliking to his activity. Maybe he wasn't carving wood. Then, what was he carving??

Paranoia and fear suddently kick in as you quickly gather your things. It's still dark outside and the sun doesn't rise for another hour.

You hear the chainsaw start up again, followed by a crash and then screams. Something's definitely not right and you quickly slip on your shoes and make a run for the car.

Just as you get there, you see Dennis exiting the other lodge with blood dripping from his arms and the chainsaw hanging by his side. Now he's heading towards your lodge and you wait for him to kick the door down before starting the engine.

Hopefully the noise of the chainsaw drowns out your car starting and luckily it does. Soon enough, you're on the highway looking for somewhere to stop and an opportunity to raise the alarm.

You don't know how long you drove for - it felt like hours but it was probably nearer to 20 minutes before you reached a garage. They serve food too and you realise that you've not had any breakfast. You decide on the Breakfast Plate with extra bacon that's priced at just under $10.

When the food arrives, you're a bit disappointed. The side of bacon looks like something the dog left behind which then takes your mind back to why you're here in the first place.

Question 3: Where are you?

Your anxiety increases again and you lose your appetite. You close your eyes and try to meditate, consciously trying to take yourself to your happy place so that your subconscious can take over.

You try to focus and start to play a relaxing song in your head...

...but you don't get very far before you hear a commotion outside.
