Hello to all amazing members of this group
I am Kojo Solomon Mbade. Was ask by my mentor to explore this group since we share an appreciate nature. I look forward to give you the best info about my State. Hope am wellcome @zealyakub, @freshcoffee, @emmanuelyoungsix, @carculcmeza, @julius5050 and everyone.

Cross River is a state in South South Nigeria, bordering Cameroon to the east. Its capital is Calabar and its name is derived from the Cross River (Oyono), which passes through the state. English and French are the major foreign languages of the state while Bekwarra, Bette people, Ejagham, Efik and Bokyi are the major indigenous languages of this state. Ejagham remains the largest ethnic group which stretches from the northern senatorial district to the southern senatorial district. To show you how unique this state is, it has 18 local government and too numerous languages which includes

It is interesting to say that most of this if not all have their specific attires, which there are meant to display at their various festivals

This is worn by queens of the different region. Mostly during celebrations and official ceremonies.

This also it worn for official ceremonies by the unique dancers choosen for the celebration.

for the Obudu People

This is worn by kings of that region, mostly during celebrations like the Obudu new yam festival and other important celebration at that region.

For the Boki nation this Local Government is blessed with fetal land

This land can be used to grow cassava, plantains, Cocoa, yam, maize, granut, cocumber, etc.
This nation also celebrate it new yam festival.

This dress is call (monikim) it is worn by beautiful ladies who showcase their dancing talent.

Wow, what amazing State in Nigeria, full of so many languages, cultures and ethics. Cross River State is fun to stay. @akam-theresa and @gracellagift can testify.
