Coronavirus Travel Interruption turned into a nice hike and beautiful flowers

I travel quite a bit for work and fortunately my line of work is considered essential. So while I gave permission to travel, the general lack of travelers has meant many changed flight times and the occasional cancellation. My most recent night flight was cancelled, so I found myself spending more time at this location then I planned. But it turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as the small facilities had rooms due to cancellations.
I found a great place, for a great price and after a restful nights sleep I got up to explore the wooded area and manicured grounds of my temporary abode. I was in for a surprise.

First I found some lovely and pretty healthy looking palm trees.

Then I found a really tall coconut tree and a few coconuts, but they were to old to eat...

But my luck changed and I found an orange tree with ripe oranges!

Soon thereafter I was off exploring again and found some pretty flowering trees.

They were nice, but not spectacular. But then I found these flowering bushes....

A very pretty light blue color...

And then these very nice flowering bushes.
A pretty red orange flower in a very geometric array.

Those were followed by these beautiful flowers, a bright vivid red color.

As you can see I was very happy to see these pretty plumeria and my day was perfect. I planned to enjoy the rest of the walk just for the exercise and sun. Then I saw these gorgeous flowers which were the Cherry on Top of my ice cream sundae!

I think it was a great walk and instead of being stuck, I felt blessed to be alive, well and enjoying the beauty of nature. I hope you enjoyed the pictures!
