Indian Skimmer

Indian Skimmer is a wonderful bird that have a short upper beak in comparison to its lower beak. In my opinion apart from the skimmers i can not recall any other bird that has a beak structure like the skimmer's.

They live along water bodies in which they can fly over the surface skimming surface of the water with their lower long beak in search for prey.

We have beautiful diversity of life on earth!
