Indeed @adalger! Overall, with de Canon camera the greater number of focus points and the use of analog zoom allow a more sharper image... A higher quality image, in general.
However, nowadays the best smartphones cameras take very acceptable photos, which will make ordinary users very happy, being very useful for spontaneous use on a daily basis.
