I'm well aware that not everyone here is a writer, and I don't consider myself one either. However, you (of course not you) don't need a professional degree to write on Steemit. This platform can serve as a nursery for exploring different genres and trying your luck with writing. It's a great place to test the waters.

I'm considering encouraging my daughters to join Steemit. It’s far better than the mind-numbing videos on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. This platform enriches and helps you grow. Where else would you find such a diverse community of people from various countries? It's a writer's haven, and I'm disappointed at what people are doing with it. It has too much to offer.

I'm not the same person I was a few months ago. I have loved interacting with people from different regions and backgrounds. It's like the long-lost dream of having pen pals coming to reality. I could talk about these perks all day.

While the quality of posts is subjective, everyone should make at least a minimal effort to contribute something worthwhile. Unfortunately, some low-quality content is polluting the platform. I apologize for calling anyone's work "low" but that's how I feel.

Hey honey, you know... I am just a "waffler", not a writer haha! I just think too much and have way too many brain farts as I recently shared with @weisser-rabe :D

I SO resonate with that - and I think it would be a lovely idea to bring them here. but yes, it would be wonderful to see some of the negative elements eradicated... although, that said - I suppose the same can be said for most spaces...

Oh, I love that perspective! I have had a few pen pals in my time :) Good old fashioned snail mail.

No need to apologise - I knew exactly what you meant! :) and more so, what you said is 100% true... and keeping fingers crossed that all the blood, sweat and tears that the-gorilla has been putting into the new interface will help to eliminate a big chunk of that!

Ultimately, I remain very, very positive for this space and I think we have enough individuals here who feel the same way... to make it work in the long game :)
