The issue of the view counter has already been raised and we all know why it was once removed. I think now no one will want to activate/add it either. It's a pity, because I would also like to know how many people read my posts. I suspect that I have no more than 10-15 real readers.

I believe that the best option would be to allow the author to choose whether or not to activate the view counter on his posts.
