But since I have been at Seemit, this has never happened.

Isn't that sad!? There is not even a (visible) discussion about a development. Even from the users there are only the usual suggestions about "optics" or "handling". At least from most of them.

I think we need even banal cosmetic changes to show the world that the project is developing.

You might think that the Steemit DIP goes exactly in this direction. But you can polish up the sheet metal as well as you want. If the engine stutters, the car won't drive much better...

Sure, Steemit is not the Steem. If something is to be changed on the blockchain, it's not Steemit Inc. that's called for first. But the Räbin got the point: who is responsible for what in the first place. Who "guards" the code of the Steem BC (on Github)? When a (real) hardfork is planned, milestones have to be set. It has to be planned, code goals have to be set. As long as there is no progress in this respect, nothing will happen... and unfortunately I don't see a solution at the moment...

Off topic - aber: the Räbin... ;-)))) Ich feier Dich!

Schön, ne... ach, das Gendern fehlt dann doch im Englischen doppelzwinker

You upset me even more. I would like to see some proactive core that would lead us forward :(

I'd like to see that one too. But I don't give up the hope, I hope you do too. :-)

I used to think that we could self-organize into an initiative group, which would include developers and ordinary users. But this is meaningless, since such a group will not be able to make any changes or improvements. Also, it takes resources to get developers interested. What will be the role of ordinary users? What are they needed for?

Yes, I'm still not giving up hope :)
