Build the Earth Construction Hunt #4 | Build The Earth 1:1 - Quimper City
Hello welcome to my blog, today I want to show you a little walk through the town of Quimper in Brittany
Quimper is one of the cities that offers us pleasant surprises because it offers us a trip along the coast of French Brittany. With a beautiful river called Odet, which flows into the Atlantic a few kilometers further. A delightful visit that makes for a fantastic getaway destination in northern France. Without a doubt the people of BuildTheEarth France give us a beautiful view.
If we walk further we will find the Cathedral of San Corentín as a curious fact this cathedral its construction in real life began in the year 1239 and it was completed in its entirety in the year 1460 according to wikipedia this beautiful cathedral is located in the southwest of Brittany, in western France.
In the vicinity of this great cathedral we can see a series of streets that by the way have some curious names such as Pepper Street (rue de Poivre) or Butter Square (Place de Beurre).
In these streets we can find interesting typically Breton architecture, characterized by its wooden facades. The streets are labyrinths where the guilds were established during the Middle Ages. They are also have peculiar names such as the street of the Zapateros or the butcher shops.
To finish we can see this beautiful panoramic view of the city of Quimper after enjoying a pleasant walk, it is unbelievable to see how minecraft has evolved as the years go by, the Build The France team dedicated 96 hours of work so that we can enjoy the beautiful architecture that this medieval city does not offer, if you want to know who participated in this construction, here are the participants.
