SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 16

With my boundless love and warm wishes, I would like to start my post. The reason I’m here for being a participant in the ''SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 16'' this creative idea announced by honorable madam @ashkhan. Each picture carries some old dusty memories. Through pictures, we go back to the old past which reminds us very which reminds us of some very beautiful moments of life left behind or some painful memories.
The picture that I have brought to you today is the picture of the special day. This day was the "Gaye Holud" day of my sister-in-law. One of the main four-day celebrations for marriage is "Gaye Holud". My in-laws are very big. In such a big family there is a very good relationship and cordiality between each member which is rare to see. Even though we are a big family and we all live far apart, whenever there is a family event or celebration we never miss the chance to get together, and all we have a lot of

plans around that special day. As per the plan, we all decided that on that day we would wear sarees of the same color and design. We all ordered the same type of saree from an online page. On a certain day, we all reached my grandmother-in-law's house. After enjoying some delicious snacks at home, we went out to the parlor. We booked a big parlor to groom all the girls of the family. After that, we went to the committee center where the ceremony of "Gaye Holud" was held. All my sister-in-law, nieces, elder sisters, and aunts-in-law wear the same color sarees. At the ceremony, we put turmeric on the bride, and we all sit together, chatting, meeting with one another, and completing our dinner together. After that, it’s time to collect some memories and take a lot of photos. Meanwhile, the music concert started. A brother-in-law of ours performed in this concert. He sings some amazing songs from his playlist and we also requested to sing some of our choices and we all enjoyed it very much. We were all dancing along with the music at the concert and there was no one left who didn't dance at this concert. It was great fun. Actually, these moments are very special because we can’t predict the future whether we can meet again or not so always try to live those moments. This family get-together really makes the bond more stronger between the family members. For as much as my house is a little far away from the event place, I had to leave early. Me and my husband left for home around 2:30 in the night.
