Yesterday seemed to be one of the happiest days in my life.

2025 seems to be a really good year for me, and I can’t count the number of “thank yous” I owe God. I had started this journey with us, and I’d like to share the part of it with us as well.

As part of my bid to cross the finish line of this phase of my academic journey, I had to defend my project for which I had dedicated almost a year preparing for.

One of the refreshing moments for me during the presentation was the satisfaction from within. My panellists did not just commend me, but one of them left his seat to fix my tie. It was his way of saying how much he was satisfied with my work.

Although I wasn’t so sure how the defence would go, I made sure I left no stone unturned. I read thoroughly to get myself immersed in the work. That was the only way I could own it.

It’s one thing from writing a good academic research work, it’s another thing to know what the work is about and talk about it in a manner that shows you understand your work so much to explain it to the understanding of another person.

Well, that’s just a part of it.
Another major part that forms even 80% if not 90% of how much success one can get is with the Lord’s favour.
I do not joke about certain things when it comes to my relationship with God. Two of them are most important to me: God’s love and mercies.

When God shows one mercy, every other good thing is enveloped in that. one of the major reasons I could confidently defend my project was for His mercy. The gift of that mercy came with favour yesterday.

Some of us pray for opportunities and finding favour before God and men. It’s real. Access to men is easier when favour covers you.

And just because it was a special day for me, I want to share it with you. Every story is worth telling, whether it’s in the process, or in the result.
