Let me turn to the heart first. It is the place where all human emotions reside, the source of all the joy and sorrows in the world, the cradle of feelings. We've all heard the phrase "decisions from the heart", but is it true? Do decisions made from the heart really turn out better? The heart, a symbol of love, compassion, and emotions - does it show us the right path in life?

The biggest argument in favor of the heart is that it leads us towards genuine emotions and humanity. When we do something from the heart, that action reveals our true nature. The heart shows us the path that aligns with our real feelings and desires. It makes us understand what humanity, love, and happiness are. People who listen to their hearts tend to be happier in life because they are fully connected with their emotions.

But wait a minute! Like everything else, decisions of the heart can also get us into trouble sometimes. We might make a mistake and take the wrong steps being overloaded by our feelings. They might be so strong that they can make us do stupid things. So, would it be wrong to say that decisions from the heart are not always right?

Now, let's talk about the mind. The mind, that is, logic, reason and analysis. The mind confronts us with truth and reality. It tells us how the world works, what the facts are, and how we should make our decisions logically and practically. By using the mind, we can control our emotions and make more calculated and thoughtful decisions.

Following the mind makes us practical. People making up their minds about something show practicality in life. Their decisions are usually made with thinking and on the ground of the available information, analysis or data. Their future is more predictable.

However, overusing the mind can also create problems. If we only listen to the mind and give no space to the heart, then the element of warmth and emotion in life will diminish. We will become robots, devoid of feelings. Relying solely on logic and facts can distance us from human emotions, making life seem like a machine where there are only calculations and decisions, but no value for emotions.

When the heart and mind clash, it is actually our internal struggle. On one side are our desires, on the other, our responsibilities. The heart says, "Follow your dreams!" while the mind says, "Be realistic!"

So, the question is, which should we trust more? The heart or the mind?

The answer may not be so simple. Life is not so black and white. Each situation has a different perspective. Sometimes, listening to the heart is better, such as in love or friendship, where emotions are essential. On the other hand, in professional life or critical decisions, using the mind is more beneficial, where facts and logic should be given attention.
