The Debate (5); Why Small Families Are Better Than Big Families.
Happy new week steemians, yeah we are progressing positively to the end of 2023. I hope the day is running smoothly so far.
I'm so happy partaking in this contest organized in this beautiful community and I wish to share my personal view in this topic as it is a very interesting one.
It is no news that one man's food might be anothers' poison as people have different taste for things in life. However, what works for Mr A might not work for Mr B just like we have different DNA profiles.

I grew up in a large family where chores were always splitted, family love and bond in correct proportion, getting to learn from each other's pot of wisdom and fun was at it peak, I'll say growing up with my family was and will always be the best part of my story.
Preferably, I'll go for a small family not beacuse they don't both have their good and bad side but beacuse that is my choice, I intend giving my children the best life and will be sad to see them struggle to fit into the society.
I prefer a small family to a big one for these reasons;
• Curtail workload: With fewer members of the family, the workload will be drastically reduced, it means fewer mess to clean up. It will be easier for parents to keep close tabs on their kids everyday lifes.
• Avoid over population: The idea of a small family means that the demand for food, water, housing, energy and healthcare will be reduced in the society and the world at large. It will be easier to control crime related activities and outbreak of pandemics.
• Financial instability will be reduced: Parents would be better equiped to manage their finances efficiently. With fewer members to care for, they would be able to live a comfortable lifestyle, afford good quality living, take trips around the world ( if they want to) without any financial strain.
• Quality education: Small family offer a more focused environment for children as the resources that would have been used for many children is being channeled to few kids. Imagine having to employ a home lesson teacher for seven kids.
• It also makes it easy to study the kids, get to know their potentials and work towards developing them without having to be engrossed with one person leaving the others behind.
In Conclusion
Family is a beautiful place and I intend having all the time in the world for my family and also creating a lovely time for myself.

I stand with you on this, apparently, small family is easy to take care of unlike big ones. The financial involvement in bigger family is too much and I think this is not meant for an average person rather big families are meant for elite because they have the financial resources to take care of.
But then, this is 21st century, we should be more concern about the ever growing population and put to birth average of 4 kids to reduce the overpopulation we are already facing.

Nice post, most of us who are from the extended family will understand how it feels to grow up in such. Though they have their advantages, I bet you they have many disadvantages. So, I personally prefer the nuclear to the extended family.
