"First surprised upvote from Sc01"

Hello my fellow steemians, it's beautiful to have you all here. I believe everything is fine as we expect a brighter tomorrow. I really fancy this contest organized by @drhira in this wonderful community as I have been looking forward to sharing this experience.

Words may seem inadequate to put down how I felt when I got my first surprised upvote from Sc01, I mean I was barely two weeks here on this platform.

So when I saw it, all I could say was wow, with a huge smile on my face which refused to fade all through that lovely day. I felt so privileged that my post was upvoted.

I participated in a cooking contest which was organized by one of my favorite person on this platform @shiftitamanna in the steem for ladies community shortly after I was verified as a legit member of the steemit platform.

A contest which was organized to not only provide winners but to educate people from diverse continent on how to prepare a sumpteous meal which is being eaten in various part of the world.

I took my shoot and extensively wrote down the procedures in preparing a palatable pumkin vegetable soup and I was overwhelmed by the lovely comments and reviews which I got.

I was skeptical about winning and getting an upvote didn't even cross my mind for once since I still labelled myself a novice as at then with nothing much to show but steem curator 01 proved me all wrong.

It will be a pleasure expressing how I felt on receiving my first upvote from Sc01

My joy was limitless when I found out, at first I had to close my eye and open it back just to confirm I wasn't dreaming, my happiness carried me immediately to the whatsapp platform as I couldn't wait to share my happiness about my achievement with my mentor @megareigns.

Trust me, I really wished I could give the brain behind that upvote a warm hug for deeming it fit to upvote my post. For some minutes, I felt like penning down a beautiful eulogy just to show my appreciation.

Sc01 should be a very loving soul I thought to myself for over looking the mistakes I might have made in the process of coining my post to still upvote, the joy was alarming.

Receiving that upvote alone did not only stop at making that day one of the most special and best day of my life but it served as an energizer and a fuel for me to keep burning in this amazing platform with relenting spirit not finding it way near as an option.
