Hello steemfam, this is a Steemit Engagement Challenge-S14W6 | Memories of 2023 on Steem fashion & style community.
The year 2023 is already gone and we welcomed 2024 yesterday at least in this part of the world. I will be sharing a few memories to say farewell to the gone year.

Memories definitely play important roles in our lives. There are what keeps us connected with friends and family faraway and also the ones we lost. Memories is what links the past to the present and also to the future.
Memories are strong cores in any relationship. The memories we share are one of the things that keeps us going in life. Our memories should be shared and preserved for the future generations.

Last year held many good memories for me. It was actually and eventful and accomplishing year.
In the year 2023, I began teaching for the most part of the year. Found out the tussle involved in teaching. The joy of having the students understand what you are teaching and also the hecticness of the job in question.
This year also, I got admission into the university and got screened. Considering the screening process had been rather frustrating, finally getting screened was a huge relief.
This year I reunited with my siblings in Akwa Ibom. It had been almost four years since we saw eachother. So meeting them after so long was a big thing of joy for me.
Also this year, I signed up on steemit and it's been very inspiring and interesting engaging on different contest since the day I posted my achievement 1
This are few of my best memories this year.

I guess my worst memory would be having to travel from Benue State down to Akwa Ibom. It wasn't actually that bad but I had to leave my mom, job, friends and home. That was the second time having to leave the things and people that are close to my heart.
Graduating from Secondary School was the first time I left something that had been a huge part of my life. My friends and my whole existence in that school I guess but our memories keep us linked.
My memories of last year will always remind me of being part of that year and will forever keep me connected to it

It is true as you said,. without memory we could not linked the past with our present.
Our life will be meaningless with out memories, as such it plays an important role help to Know when we did wrong and correct our mistake. Memory also help is to enjoy every single moment we have with our family, friends, Neighbor and relative.

Memory plays an important role of connecting your friends and family even at faraway lands. Travelling to a faraway land may be hard because you missed your loved one. So happy that you were back to reunite with them after 4 years. Good luck
