The Debate (Week 12): Why Tea is better than Coffee.

Tea vs coffee has always been a debated on for years now.
But today, I will be proposing on the motion that says "tea is better than coffee"

There are so many reasons why tea is better than coffee and they include;

• Tea is packed with antioxidants which can help protect your body from damage caused by free radicals.
Although coffee also contains antioxidants still tea has higher levels making it better than coffee in that aspect.

• Tea is lower in caffeine than coffee which can be beneficial for those who are sensitive to caffeinwant to avoid the nervous actions and other side effects of caffeine.

• Tea contains theanine. Theanine is an amino acid that promotes relaxation without causing drowsiness. But coffee does not contain this.

• Tea has been linked to a reduced risk of cardiovascular disease while coffee has been linked to an increased risk.

• Tea improves brain function while coffee can lead to anxiety and nervousness.
Which makes tea still better than coffee in this aspect.

• Tea is less acidic than coffee and it's less likely to cause stomach upset unlike coffee.

• There are many different varieties of tea to choose from which includes; black, green, white, oolong, and herbal teas. This allows you to customize your tea experience and your preferences unlike coffee that had limited variety.

• Tea is cheaper than coffee making it more affordable option for those on a budget.

• Finally, tea is more pleasant to drink. It has a wide range of flavours from earthy to robust to light and to floral. There's a tea for every taste.
Coffee on the other hand, can be bitter and acidic.

Those are just few reasons why tea is better than coffee. Wether you're looking for a health boost or just a delicious drink, TEA IS THE WAY TO GO.
