But enough with the weather drama.Rainfall has won my heart. The rain is powerful and vibrant, like a thrilling and immersive love affair.When raindrops start their drumming on my window, I feel like I'm front row at a nature concert. Each drop is a soloist, and together, they make sweet, sweet music.
And the smell! Oh, the smell of rain is like a fragrant love letter from the earth. It's as if the world just took a bubble bath and came out all refreshed. You ever catch a whiff of that rain-soaked ground? It's like nature just applied a fresh coat of perfume.

Now, let's talk about the real star of a rainy day – the food. If rain had a fan club, I'd be the president, treasurer, and head chef. When those rain clouds roll in, it's like a dinner bell for my taste buds. And my absolute go-to is "khichuri" with beef and a sidekick of chutney. The khichuri is like your favorite sweater, the beef's the cozy fireplace, and the chutney? Well, it's the zesty friend who keeps the conversation spicy. There's just no resisting this combo, especially when you're watching the rain tap-dance outside.

My love for rain goes beyond food. A true rain rebel. I grab my jacket (if I can find it) and head outside for a drenched dance. Like my own wild and wet trip. What's greater? When my daughter, my collaborator, agrees. Her laughter as she leaps through puddles is music to my soaked ears. Accepting the simplicity of becoming totally, gloriously drenched is joyous!

Rain lovers, let's remember that life in the rain isn't always sunny and funny. Rain can be naughty. It turns city streets into slippery , full of mud-covered, and sometimes into a maze with endless traffic congestion. It's like "Surviving the Rain Jam." on repeat. The flood is the unwelcome guest that leaves a mess and stays too long. It can ruin property and make us feel like we live in a soggy comedy scene.
In the end, rain in Bangladesh is like that quirky friend who keeps your life interesting. It brings tranquility, it delivers comfort food, it ignites adventure, and yes, it even throws a few rainy curveballs our way. But, you know what? It's precisely these unexpected complexities that make rainy days so delightfully engaging, heartwarming, and just a tad bit hilarious.
