Steemit Engagement Challenge-S14W6 | Memories of 2023
Memories of a year can be sweet or bitter and when the sweet memories are many that make a year most memorable and when the bitter memories are many that make a year full of lessons and regret. My 2023 was a year of both sweet and bitter memories so I can't say this a bad year but it was not completely a good year to save in my memories to recall often. It gave me lessons that may help me to be alert for next time to avoid such worse experiences.
We already welcome a new year right here and already said good bye to 2023 but memories still exist. A good or bad memory takes time to erase from our mind completely. Sometimes it come back to us like history repeat itself but the time left behind never come back to us. The memories of 2023 still alive in our mind because we just welcome a new year and it will take time to forget the memories that still in our mind.
Are memories play important role in your life?
Well, the answer is YES, memories plays important role in my life. For example a bad experience that I had in my life last year could be a lesson for me and I'll try my best to keep myself safe from such bad incident or accident that snatched away my peace and made me feel regret. A sweet or good memory also has it's impact on our mind like whenever we recall them it makes us smile and this is not alter to me.
Memories gives us reminder of both positive and negative experiences and some worse memories can makes us cry too. Losing a family member can be a worse memory for lifetime such as I lost my mom in January 9, 2015 and that year I consider the worst one in my life and I can't recall any good memory of that year because the worse memory already in my mind like a wound. But the other years mostly have the combination of good and bad memories like 2023.

The best memories of 2023 was whenever I make a plan of traveling with my best friend to a new place and we had several day out together in 2023 and we enjoyed full on. Traveling is always an awesome experience to me and by the grace of Almighty Allah I had no bad experience like road accident or something that make me upset and broken. Spending time with loved one can help us collecting good memories most of the time.
Having a safe journey in a new place each time is a matter of joy and I planned this several time in 2023. If I share my good memory in a word in 2023 then it should be traveling. Traveling with the dearest one can be consider as a blessing because we can spend quality time together can stay away from stress and negative thoughts, we can enjoy the nature fullest as we visit parks and botanical garden areas. We take selfies together, had our favorite meals together and what else we want to make such good memories.

A worst memory can be enough to spoil your year and I had one. In 2023 I made a partial power down in steemit and it was my worst decision I made last year. A scammer had a master plan to scam me and it was about selling my NFT art which was not sold but a scammer grabbed my two years of earning just in a few seconds by creating a temporary suspecious link and I fall into the trap and lost 1.20 ETH right there. You can calculate the money worth 1.20 ETH and it was my earning of two years.
The worst experience broke me for few months and later I was trying to recover my lost asset. It will take more than a year to recover my loss and I'm trying to recover by trading crypto with high risk. I lost more than 21k steem and it made my 2023 year worst one though it was a good lesson for me and I was fool and trapped that I could earn from my NFT when the market is full of scammers. I left NFT field as I lost my 2 years of earning just in a few clicks. I was in shock for several months even the loss is not yet recovered.
I wish no one had such worse memory in their life and can learn from my foolish act that snatched away the earning of my two years. It will be unforgettable and painful. I regret a lot that why I fall into the trap of scammers when I was smart enough to understand the trap. I was like hypnotized!

Assalamu Alaikum Apu, you are right in saying that when a family member is lost, the last memory remains for life. My father also died in 2023, the memory of which almost always makes me cry. As long as I live, I will never forget this memory and its memory will always hurt me. The loser understands the pain of losing.

Memories play a vital role always. Yes agree. You have travelled with your friend which gave you alot of enjoyment and experience. That's the sweet moment for you. You have done little power down in 2023 and this was your worse decision.

Memories is like a two sided pills: the sweet pills and bitter pills. It is important to know that this element (memory) is what qualifies us to a better life ahead. Travelling experience is always fun. The most fun part is the exploration of your destination. So sorry for your loss of your earning. The online space is filled with counterpart and counterfeit.
