Assalamu Alaikum everyone. Today I am going to participate in a Papercraft Contest organized by respected moderator @mdkamran99 Sir of Steem Fashion & Style community. In the contest, it is said that Making a dress out of colored paper. I love to make any crafts. So today in this competition I will show you how to make a dress with color paper. So let's get started.
Light Green Color Paper.
Blue color adhesive card.
Fabi Sticks and Glue.
Scissors and scales.
A scotchtape for the round shape.
So let's see step by step
How I make a dress with color paper.
How I make a dress with color paper.
- In the first step I will line the green color paper with a scale equal to 5.5 inches above and below and cut to size. Then I will draw 3 circles in a round shape and cut them into those shapes. So I have a square 5.5 inch long and 3 round shaped papers.
- First we will make the upper part of the shirt. I will first fold the square paper into four parts and then fold it with one corner as shown in the picture.
- Then I will fold the two sides into a triangle shape and then fold the upper two parts downwards to make the sleeves.
- Next I will make the bottom part of the shirt. As you can see I have taken a circular paper that I cut earlier. I will divide it by 3. And I will fry it long on both sides.
- After that, I will open the folded round paper and give a shape like the circumference of the dress on both sides of the long neck and in this way shape the other two round papers. Then the bottom and top parts of my dress are all ready.
- Next, I will attach the bottom 3 parts of the dress with Fabi Sticks.
- Next you can see I put glue gum on the top of the shirt so that I could attach the bottom to the top.
- Then I cut the blue color adhesive card into a long thin shape. The reason for using it is to highlight the garment more beautifully. Then I removed the glue from the back of the blue color adhesive card and put it in the middle of the shirt to make my today's color paper dress.
My sister gave me the idea to make these paper crafts. Both of us used to make different crafts since childhood. He would give me ideas or I would give him ideas. I was initially confused about what color dress to make for the pageant, then she suggested me to make it in light green color. And the dress looked great after making it.
To be honest I have always loved to make paper crafts. I think any craft made with paper works very well for our brain development. By doing this we get an attempt at creative creation. And everyone loves creative creation and can learn from each other's works. So I have a great feeling while making paper crafts at work.
