Contest: Stories, learnings and reflection #01 (A greatness story of a stranger)

Every day we learn something from our life. There is no age to learn. What we learn on this battlefield of life is real education. The respected moderator @alexanderpeace ma’am has given us the opportunity to face various incidents in life and shed light on the lessons we can learn from those incidents. For that, I thank her once again and I am starting my discussion.
A story that happened in my life: -
The incident happened about 11 years ago in my life. I took a job in a new area. I lived in a room with a few people near my place of work. All the rooms in the building were shared by the workers. It was summer and suddenly the electricity went out late at night. I could not sleep in the heat. So, I went to the roof of the third floor with the two mobile phones I had. When I went there, I saw many people had come to the roof to escape the heat. Some were talking, some were sleeping on the roof. There was no boundary on the roof. I sat near the roof stairs and spent time talking on the phone with my wife. After talking for about an hour, I got up from my seat and a phone fell from my hand. Since the place was sloping, it fell from the third-floor roof before I could catch it.
The place where the phone fell was muddy. When someone stood there, the knee and foot went down. I first stopped for a while. It took me a while to understand what had happened. Now, as a futile attempt, I asked if everyone on the roof had a torch. When everyone refused, I sat there helplessly.
Suddenly, one of them came and asked me what was my problem. Then I told him everything, he called two or three more friends and told them to bring a powerful torch light. I showed them where the mobile was felt. They went to their room and brought a powerful torch. And he himself started getting into the mud. Even though I repeatedly forbade him from getting into the mud, he did not stop. Ignoring my words, he started getting into the mud. After a long time, he picked up the phone. Half of his body was covered in mud. He washed it with water and then gave it to me. I thanked him from the bottom of my heart.
Lesson to be learned: -
Our habits are such that we do not do good to anyone easily, our minds do not agree to help anyone. But that gentleman pointed his finger at me and showed me how to help people. I have never met a gentleman like that again. But his good deeds are etched in my mind.
To help people, one has to do such selfless good. From now on, I also try to help people. Maybe I don't get the opportunity to do it so selflessly like him or I don't do it. But I do help by giving wise advice. That gentleman taught me how to help. Today, through this contest, I once again pay my heartfelt respects to him. The one who taught me humanity taught me the way to do help. I thank him again and I am leaving today.
