Short-term solutions vs. long-term solutions The adage you mentioned is nicely captured: "Let a man eat a fish and teach a man to fish to settle for a lifetime of fishing." Today's contest explores both perspectives. doing:

Short term solution i.e. let someone eat fish:

When someone gives you a fish, it is like receiving immediate help. His hunger was satisfied, and he got an immediate solution, but later he had the same cravings again.
This method is practical in emergencies or situations where time is of the essence. Imagine being stranded without food; You gave John a fish to eat and he will remember you for the rest of his life. Because he was hungry and he needed it

Since , this is a short-term solution. Tomorrow, he will be hungry again, and the cycle will repeat.

Permanent Solution i.e. Teach someone to fish: Learning how to fish is an investment in your future. It is not just a matter of sustenance; It's about acquiring a skill.

When you master fishing, you gain freedom. You are no longer dependent on others for your daily meals. You become self-reliant. Moreover, this knowledge can be shared. Teaching others to fish perpetuates the cycle of empowerment.

So, which one is better?: It depends on the environment. Sometimes, we need that immediate catch – be it food, solutions or emotional support. Other times, we must prioritize learning to fish.

Ideally, we strike a balance. We address immediate needs while investing in long-term growth. Perhaps we give fish today but also teach fishing techniques for tomorrow.

As writers, we face similar choices:
Instant Content: We can churn out pieces quickly to meet deadlines or satisfy our audience's hunger for information.

Skill Development: Alternatively, We can delve deeper, research and hone our craft. This investment pays off in the long run.

Ultimately, Both approaches have their place. Discretion is the key when to provide fish and when to provide fishing gear. But ultimately, permanent solutions are better than short-term solutions.

First of all i love your debate topic. Permanent solution or cure is better than short term solution just that sometimes this short term solution is required when in need of ut urgently. But with resources available, we can go through the long term solution and ask no more for short term fishes. Goodluck bro.

This I agree with you. It is true that "when you master fishing you gain freedom" indeed. Good luck in this contest.
